Had to look it up...never heard of him. His real last name is Dollar? lol.

I see what you're saying though, Jeff.

I'm disappointed he didn't fight it, but Kraft has always been all class. Kudos.

Hopefully Brady fights the hell out of these guys, and likely wins.

Seriously doubt he's all class. Rich people don't get that rich by always being classy. Most of the time they have to be a sonofabitch and step on a lot of people to get to a point of wealthiness. Then they can act all classy like their a good person and few will know the difference.

Who the heck knows what he's done, yes, Scott. I'm talking purely in the NFL PR realm of things. He's always conducted himself with class from what I've seen in that realm. I never pretend to speculate on the personal lives of these guys (owners, players, coaches, etc.) outside of that.

When you're wealthy and in the Public Eye, you can afford to pay the best PR Firms to make you look all squeaky clean.

for all I know he really is all class. I don't have a personal grudge or hatred for the guy.

Just pointing out that most guys that get that wealthy got there by stepping on, and screwing somebody along the way.

Falcons with another dog killer. Hold the outrage, Prince Shembo "accidentally" killed the dog by kicking it.

I know he has proved many of us wrong in the past, but I'll really be shocked if Peyton makes it through the season this year. And honestly if I was the Broncos I would have gone with a Roger Clemens-like strategy with him anyway. Get a good solid vet QB to play for the first 4 games and then have Peyton on a shortened season and fresh for playoffs.

Cleveland Browns make a personnel move...

http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/article-5/Browns-to-sign-9-year-old-Dylan-Sutcliffe-through-Make-A-Wish/ae30cffd-b69d-4201-93a1-22c0521efa97

Hard to argue with that signing.

Cam gets $60M guaranteed

I think with the right coach and the right supporting personnel he could be a Top 4 QB in the NFL

CLearly the Panthers think the same by this contract

However, they have done a poor job at building offensive talent so far

And now with that contract straining their budget they'll have even more trouble building offensive talent.

That depends on how they structured the contract to fit the cap. If most is up front in bonuses etc, then the future cap hits wont be such a problem. for the most part that's what Brez has done.

I agree

It will be a strain

That is a contract a QB usually gets AFTER winning big

I could see Wilson's deal topping that

But even without that contract Carolina was doing a real poor job of assembling offensive talent

They never replaced Steve Smith and their RBs are AARP eligibile

Oh yeah, their line stinks also

Kelvin Benjamin has a chance to be Smith's replacement.

But the rest of the offense is Cam and a prayer.

I think that's just the going rate for good (not even great) QB's now. Is this any more than Tannehill's deal really? Around $20M/yr each. I like Newton and would put him in the next group below "great" guys. But you almost have to pay a guy that now at that position.

The Cutler deal set the bar here.

I was certainly in on this guy from the beginning for taking a chance on him. I still would have done it over again. UDFA vs. early 2nd rd pick for Hunter, who's also a bust.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13089352/kansas-city-chiefs-release-wr-darick-rogers

What a disappointing trio that group of UT receivers was with Hunter/CP/Rogers.

Hopefully Patterson can turn that around for the Vikes.

It's a good idea but Peyton would have to be convinced to stand and watch. Not likely being he is so competitive.

This got taken care of quickly. I don't understand what prosecutors gain by dealing out to the lowest possible punishment.

If he was driving an insured car non negligently and only caused property damage that would be the min.

Because you're guilty and admit guilt will you take this deal that is the bare bones minimum while we sweep stuff under the rug that all told could ding a regular Joe at the whim of any judge?

Yes. Yes I will.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/monkey-cage/wp/2015/05/15/does-race-matter-in-nfl-rosters/

Chip Kelly is a jackass

He is a mental midget who wants people to think he is so smart.

I used to think he was racist but actually he is just another small minded dicator

Anyone who doesn't kiss his ass is shown the highway

Jackson, McCoy, Maclin, Herremans, Mathis, Foles, Vick, Brown

The fact that he kept the racist Riley Cooper and his first big cuts were Black gave him the anti-Black image.

It is just that more of the people who won't bow down and kiss his ass are Black and they were the first ones let go

You can't win in the NFL like that. You have to appease stars because now the Eagles have spent 2 years replacing top talent in their prime instead of filling holes. He thinks he scored big with Maxwell but Maxwell is no Sherman. You got the worst of the LOD

He is not a genius

His supposed great offense lost 3 games last year when it couldn't score from 1st and goal

They got shut down at home in their one playoff game by the Saints mediocre defense

He will be out of the NFL in 2 years

Quarless allegedly fired shots during argument with group of women
Posted by Mike Florio on July 4, 2015, 4:50 PM EDT

More details have emerged regarding the Miami misadventures of Packers tight end Andrew Quarless. And they don’t make the situation any better for Quarless.

According to the Miami New Times, the police report claims Quarless fired two shots — one into the air — from a semiautomatic .45 caliber handgun during an argument with a group of women.

The argument happened as Quarless and another man were leaving a parking garage in a Porsche Panamera (product placement!). The men approached another car containing several women. An attendant at the parking garage heard one of the women yell, “No, get away, leave me alone!”

According to the police report, Quarless produced the gun and fired two shots, one straight into the sky. One of the women later told police that Quarless fired the shots “in an attempt to emphasize his dominance and manhood.”

The parking attendant called police. According to the police report, Quarless left the Porsche and tried to hide the gun in a potted plant. Police found the gun and matched the shells found at the garage with the gun.

Quarless is charged only with a misdemeanor, but that won’t matter to 345 Park Avenue. Firing a weapon twice in public — including the firing of a round into the air — during a dispute with a group of women Quarless didn’t know will undoubtedly provoke harsh consequences in the post-Ray Rice NFL.

It also could provoke the Packers to consider dumping Quarless and his $1.3 million salary, unless they’re willing to pay him to not play, because Quarless is likely headed for paid leave pending the resolution of his case.
