Diggs and Hunter adding to what the Texans had, wow !!!

They should be a fun team to watch, anything less than getting to the 2nd week of the playoffs will be a disappointment for them.

Adding what? Large salaries?

Diggs is a diva and Hunter is always hurt. As I see it, they took on a lot of baggage.

Hunter had a major neck injury that cost him 1.5 years.

He never missed a game before or after.

And he's coming off the best year of his career. Career highs in Sacks, Forced Fumbles, Tackles (Both Solo and Ast), QB Hits and he led the NFL in Tackles for Loss.

He's had 108 tackles-for-loss in 119 games. In other words, he makes less than one (potentially) impactful play a game. Lets not conflate his production. He's never been one of the top rush-ends in the eight years he has been in the league. Tons of potential. Nobody argues that.

You can play that "game" with any NFL player.

Its a dishonest argument.

It's not dishonest at all. Hunter has always showed potential, but has never been considered one of the best at his position.

Brad please stop with the lying.

Myles Garrett
Micah Parsons
Nick Bosa
Jermaine Johnson
TJ Watt
Max Crosby
Trey Hendrickson

I could name another five on top of that I'd rather have.

Admittedly, I don't think much of defensive ends. Without good corners they are irrelevant.

You stated that Hunter has NEVER been considered one of the best at his position. You named a bunch of pretty good to great Defensive ends. A lot of them came along after Hunter was already considered one of the best at his position. That doesn't change the FACT that Hunter has been considered one of the best defensive ends. You know what you said isn't true. You know that Hunter has been considered one of the best at his position and that is why I'm declaring what you said as a lie.

It's been slow in here so:

1. He's saying inflamatory shit to start debate
2. He's trying to drum up more arguments for his belief that "defense starts at the corners"

I think he's bored.

IDK..they’re eating 30 million in dead cap aren’t they. It’s a discounted high 2nd to me.

Reading up on it, the Bills could have waited till next year and had no dead cap.

But, the team made a run late in season when it quit trying to force ball to him and Allen starting running more.

I do think Demeco Ryans can get the best out of him.

Diggs is still extremely good. IMO great deal for the Texans.

Now, Diggs gets the rest of his contract wiped away and can become FA next year.

I think Bills saw a huge contract squabble coming up and got what they could get.

When JJ and Chase get their big deals, look for Diggs to be looking for the same.

He really shouldn't have done that (wipe out the contract)...wrong side of 30....he is in Thielen territory. Perfectly fine first 10-12 games but body is done for playoffs.

If he comes out strong, and he probably will, there will be pressure on Houston to extend him.

Totally agree.

Hard to say anyone faired well in this trade.
