I hate the Twins for not pursuing Ramos when he ended up signing the perfect contract given his injury history. Incentive ladden, only 2 years, very club friendly and allows him to get a bigger payday if he performs well.

We really really really need an organization to step up and say it wants to win and I don't mean simply getting into the playoffs. win it all.

Castro was a good get. I think your love of Ramos (and I don't blame you) is clouding your judgment a bit this time. Targeting and getting one specific beloved player is a longshot. SMF got it (briefly) with Hardy and SMF basked in the sun for that season. But really, what are the chances?

Status: offline 		Now the White Sox got the top pitching prospect on the market for Adam Eaton. Wow! Twins are getting taken to the woodshed by the Whities. Ouch. Better move Dozier soon before all the best dangled prospects are gone.

I don't remember that. Please refresh me. All I remember is an under-the-radar World Championship in 2005 under Kenny Williams.

He signed so many good players to decent contracts....(Sale, Eaton, Abreu, Robertson) that just trading them away will rebuild the team. Mauer signed earlier would have done the same...Hunter done earlier, Johan, etc. etc.

Williams could take chances because he signed his core earlier to team friendly contracts.

They got 3 pitchers for him.

Some think that it's part 1 of a deal and they'll send Robertson there as well.

It looked excessive....I was listening to MLB Radio and they were asking why they didn't just sign Rickie Fowler---especially now that it sounds like the Nats are going after Jansen too.

Giolito fits the profile of a pitcher I want the Twins to get. Guy is a horse. 6'6" 250, 96 MPH fastball, nasty slider, 22 years old

How in the heck is Washington only getting Adam Eaton. What a silly SILLY trade

Much better than Revere. 14 homers last year. How many has Revere hit in his career? One? Eaton had basically the same WAR as Dozier last year will contributing elite defense and is controllable until 2021.

(Although I'm positive they overpaid)
