Just seeing this post now, a bit late to the party. The Coyote move seems to be official now, but why move the Coyotes only to put another team right back in Phoenix?

No team is moving to AZ until they build a state-of-the-art arena that can house and support an NHL team.
So in other words.......don't hold your breath.

If true, the NHL is more idiotic than I've been giving them credit for. 2 burned out franchises that had to move so lets fire it back up!!!!! You'd have better chance at success in Hartford and Quebec.

Is Bettman planning on retiring to AZ and purchasing his own expansion team with his golden parachute? That is the only way I see it happening.....
