I got a bottle of wine already in the kitty.
That's my favorite spoils.

This one will be interesting. Of course I made my call nine months ago.

Good news, I'm not a sore loser. I have something in mind, should I lose, that will blow away the last box of wine.

So, I'm clear, $20 to me if I back the idea that Peterson stays with us?

Lets make it more clear and definable. I say Adrian Peterson doesn't get any carries for us in the upcoming regular season. If he gets one or more, you win.

We are all done here, mate. Maybe next year lol.

Ian Joseph -> RE: Board Bets (4/7/2015 10:12:17 AM)

For the sake of clarity, among other things that aren't necessary to say, allow me to edit this post.

There are two separate pieces of action in effect for the draft challenge.

1) Two-Time Champions: $25 buy-in fee (and must be a previous challenge winner)

2) High-point Take All: $10 buy-in fee (high point person in the action wins, regardless of overall contest finish)

To participate, you need a paypal account, period. I will facilitate both. The deadline to enter is April 29.

All transaction info will be conducted through PM.

Todd M -> RE: Board Bets (4/7/2015 6:56:30 PM)

It's a shame we didn't have a spot where we could discuss board bets.

Ricky J -> RE: Board Bets (4/26/2015 9:16:03 PM)

Still time to get into the Peterson bet, Pete?

Ricky J -> RE: Board Bets (5/5/2015 9:55:31 PM)

I've got a bet for ya: Is La'el Collins involved in such a way that his draft stock "should" have dropped. I say he is ...

Ian Joseph -> RE: Board Bets (5/5/2015 11:43:16 PM)

Well, that's kind of a shitty bet lol..

Ricky J -> RE: Board Bets (5/6/2015 7:24:36 AM)

I see it more as a shitty situation. If kg wouldn't of had such strong feelings about it I probably wouldn't of gave it much thought. I happen to think he's involved some how - that smoke/fire thing.

Anything is possible. I'm guessing that Collins isn't guilty of anything. Just a guess and not interested in any bet because just too morbid to bet on.

Ricky J -> RE: Board Bets (5/6/2015 6:41:10 PM)

I see it as reading a situation more than shitty or morbid. But that's just me I guess.

That the cops make it public in the 11th hour that they want to see him, but of course he's not a suspect, says to me he's involved.

This brings up a question. If the cops saying he is not a suspect makes you believe he's involved would them saying he is a suspect make you think he's not involved?

Could you be anymore naive?

Absolutely. It was his pregnant ex-girlfriend. That there is currently absolutely no evidence that he is involved in her death is irrelevant.

Ian Joseph -> RE: Board Bets (5/6/2015 11:20:34 PM)

His paternity test was negative.. he's starting visits.

What I am saying is no matter what you think he is involved. Wasn't even his kid and you think he is involved. Anything is possible. I might be the murderer or you might be the murderer.

Collins also passed a polygraph test.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Board Bets (5/8/2015 8:04:16 AM)

jesus.. you know someone from a past relationship... they get killed in a horrible way.. so your "involved" even though the kid is not yours, you were not anywhere near the incident unless your circle of involvement is hundreds of miles wide, and you pass an inadmissable polygraph test that you have to agree to or volenteer to take..

yea , involved as I was in the assaination of MLK, because, you know, I'm white....and was 11

Ricky J -> RE: Board Bets (5/8/2015 8:07:56 AM)

edit: nm, I get it

kgdabom -> RE: Board Bets (5/8/2015 10:36:33 AM)

I'm glad I was right all along. Vikings should have listened to me. Things resolved too late for Collins to get fair compensation for his services.
