A kid who played for me, knew him, and is Haulas age … always told me he was a total dingleberry to get along with
I always fought it, because I loved his game, but man it sure has played out that way
There has to be something to it.
I think we all would like a little more sandpaper in our locker room, but some guys are apparently just too much to put up with

We needed him and still traded him to Vegas. Sucks he is that way...

The opposite of Mikko.

Parise is willing to waive no-move is this comes to fruition. It’s a complicated trade. Talks have been ongoing with #mnwild since last summer and revived lately. Ladd would have been the return last summer

Hearing #isles are working on a deal that would reunite Zach Parise and GM Lou Lamoriello. Not done yet.

Oh please, let this happen.

Just can't see any real NHL team wasting a trade to get what Zach is offering right now.
Just don't see it.

Isles just made another trade

Phil Riewer -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 11:59:00 AM)

The only thing I can see is he is close to retiring in a year or two and then the Wild still get the salary recapture tax....which would hurt.

SoMnFan -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 12:00:19 PM)

Zach is a 2006 Alero with 246,000 miles on it.

I guess that's why Russo says it's complicated. The #1 from Pittsburgh could be sweetener.

I take back the part about the Pittsburgh 1st rounder. If we are taking Ladd back, the Islanders are the ones who need to add sweeteners.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 1:29:37 PM)

Russo basically saying trade is in final stages....we will see.

Ladd does free up 2.5 million for 3 years.

Ladd does free up 2.5 million for 3 years.

He also makes about 5 million a year and has only played 2 games this season. That's a hell of a lot of dough for somebody who doesn't play.

True...but Mayhew/Sturm probably are as good as Parise at 1 million...so I think we would still be better off.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 1:36:07 PM)

Cmon Guerin....25 mins to get this done.

TJSweens -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 1:39:22 PM)

How ironic would it be if the Wild traded Zach Parise to the Islanders? It was 45 years ago that the North Stars traded JP Parise to the Islanders.

SoMnFan -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 1:41:03 PM)

I'm hearing its OFFICIAL …..
Parise has been costing us wayyyy too much money.

Sorry, it was just laying there.

Didn't they win the cup after the trade too? Same GM drafted Guerin also?

No, they went to the semi finals

Much ado about nuttin

Bill Guerin presser is at 2:45, so that would also make it appear the Parise trade didn't go down. In addition to Parise waiving no-move,
@FriedgeHNIC
reported Andrew Ladd waived no-trade to come to Minnesota.

So appears complicated deal broke down late

SoMnFan -> RE: Wild 2019/2020 Season (2/24/2020 2:14:47 PM)

Worthless deal anyway, wouldn't it have been?
What am I missing?
Shuffling money, and no real on-ice help for anyone.
Much ado about nuttin.

Parise is grossly overpriced production. Ladd would have been less money, but absolutely no production for that money. My guess is Gruerin wanted more.
