Toby Stumbo -> WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/15/2020 8:10:24 AM)

Umm, go Vikes!

David F. -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/15/2020 9:53:42 AM)

Vikes will demolish the Colts. The Colts have major problems all over the place and everyone on the Vikes from the head coach on down to the equipment manager will be looking to get the stank of the Green Bay game off them. Even with the help of NASA we couldn't possibly design a QB more perfectly vulnerable to our defense than Philip Rivers. Rivers might get benched on week 3.

Vikes 38
Colts 10

David F. -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/15/2020 11:54:13 AM)

OMG Indy is favored by 3. Bet the house on the Vikes. And your neighbor's house.

TJSweens -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/15/2020 12:17:23 PM)

I wish I shared your optimism. No pass rush. The interior OL was even worse than I expected (and I expected really, really bad). Some things need to be fixed right away in practice or this season is going to over before it gets started.

Brad H -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/15/2020 12:51:44 PM)

Indy was one of about three or four teams this past weekend that looked like a hot mess waiting to happen.

First off, their quarterback can't throw the ball deep any more and the Vikings are pretty good when the play is in front of them. Aaron Rodgers burned the Vikings over the top, and that won't happen this week.

I say take the Vikings and the points. However, take the under (48). I see a lot of field goals in this one.

Vikings 23
Colts 16

ronhextall -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/15/2020 4:34:53 PM)

must win in week 2?

Schedule looks tough.

I think we will win by 7, but I would take the over. Both defenses looked rusty on Sunday.

Bruce Johnson -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 9:27:00 AM)

We will win by three scores.

Bill Jandro -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 9:56:40 AM)

The Colts have major problems all over the place

As do we.

#Vikings, who play at Indianapolis on Sunday, have never beaten the Colts on the road, having gone 0-11. They are 0-3 in Indianapolis after having gone 0-8 in Baltimore, where the Colts played until moving to Indy in 1984. Minnesota's last visit to Indy was in 2012, a 23-20 loss,

The only caveat is that Rivers is 1-3 against us. However, if we lack a pass rush and continue to play a soft cover 2 even Rivers can pick us apart. Colts have an excellent oline.

Zim always goes on and on about proper technique nuances with the db's, but he never just puts the them in a position to check receivers at the los. Disrupt the guy before he gets into his route. It doesn't seem too hard, but he's the cb whisperer, so I'm probably wrong.

I think Zim has a hard time tweaking his system to fit his players skills. That is why rookies rarely play in his system.....they have to re-learn how to do things the Zim way or else.

Problem is, it's a team game.

thebigo -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:05:10 PM)

David Levine -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:09:03 PM)

OLine struggling.

Big penalty.

David Levine -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:10:40 PM)

Great run blocking that time.

thebigo -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:11:13 PM)

Naked bootleg here

David Levine -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:12:47 PM)

Ugh.

2 bad runs and then plenty of time on 3rd down, but couldn’t do anything.

thebigo -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:12:55 PM)

We're still in this.

bohumm -> RE: WEEK 2: @ Colts 9-20-20 12:00PM CT (9/20/2020 12:14:21 PM)

On first take receivers not getting much separation.

Big penalty.

If I were Indy or any other opponent I would throw stunts, blitzes, and games at the IOL until they show they can handle it.

Must of been.

Don't get anything from the announcers, seem like they just got the call to work this game this morning. Ham is a TE now.

Yup. It sounds like we got the on-call team and they are working on no sleep or prep.
