So far, swimmers are piling up medals and Team USA got embarrassed by Team France in basketball.

China leads in total medals with 18, US is second with 14. Japan leads in golds with 8, US is second with 7. Looks like we cleaned up in the shooting category. Wayne LaPierre is busting his buttons right now.

Simone Biles injured on her first event of the day and is out of the team competition. The US pretty well has no shot at a gold in the team event at this point.

Minnesota has a nice representation in Tokyo. I haven't had the opportunity to watch many of the events, but I love hearing about their successes.
