Zimmer should have been fired after the playoff loss to Philly.
Cousin never should have been given guaranteed money. Get rid of him now, cut your losses.

There are no cut losses. His contract is fully guaranteed for next year, and has been for a long time.

He can still be traded, that would cut the losses some.
Just read an article that suggested New Orleans would be interested in Cousins. Get rid of him.

But you said get rid of him now. If you get rid of him now, you bake his contract into next year's cap. He can't be traded until next league year, probably starting in February or March.
I think there would be a lot of interest in Cousins. He's a good QB. There will always be a team that thinks they can win it all with him, and some probably can. Not us, though. Not now.
Daniel Lee Young -> RE: You're One of the Wilfs (12/9/2021 6:15:21 PM)
Fn Spielman and his fully guaranteed contracts and the insane amount of money…
45 million?
I don’t blame Cousins for signing that.. I’d have jumped all over that myself….
How can the Wilf’s let someone be that reckless with money?

They signed on, and (nearly) doubled down by extending Harrison Smith until he's 98.
