Daniel Lee Young -> Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 12:04:36 AM)

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Is the new GM of the Vikings.

Let’s see how this goes

I’m in favor.. the previous management of the team was rotting from Nepotism and bleeding money like a hemophiliac trapped in a field of sawgrass during a hailstorm.
Go Vikes!

SKOL!!

ronhextall -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 8:56:51 AM)

He will be judged by the talent he amasses.

I don't care if he uses scouts, slide rule, or an Ouija board if it nets results.

I hope he prioritizes OL, DL,CB,QB, and WR for big money and fills in the rest as best he can.

I think spending money on RB, LB, and Safeties is about as dumb as it gets.

twinsfan -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 9:10:44 AM)

He doesn't have an African accent.

Mark Anderson -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 9:16:04 AM)

Hopefully there is a statue of KAM outside of US Bank in 30 years.

twinsfan -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 9:17:00 AM)

Reggie Cobb...Man, that guy was a beast! I didn't know he passed away. Sad.

Lynn G. -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 9:25:11 AM)

I'm excited about Adofo-Mensah, for quite a few reasons. His academic pedigree is high, his approach to managing a team sounds promising, he's young - so he's not set in the "old ways" of doing things ... and he's black, which makes the Vikings a trend setter again. With Denny Green we were one of the earliest teams to have a black head coach. I like living in the 21st century, and I'm glad our team does too.

twinsfan -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 9:42:33 AM)

He's left-handed. A very good sign.

Does setting trends lead to Super Bowls?

Does doing things the way we have for 45+ years lead to Super Bowls?

What’s your point?

It's bizarre how you continually think your quips are somehow funny when this one for example points to you being some 70 year old dude who has lived isolated and sheltered from modern society, probably deep in some rural area, for his life.

Does setting trends not lead to Super Bowls?

This is an insult to rural areas. [8|]

I was being a parody.

twinsfan -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 2:25:16 PM)

You thought my response to Phil's question of what great thing has Biden accomplished was pretty funny. I swing and I miss most times, but sometimes I knock it out of the park!

I'll make sure to not say anything that could in the least bit provide encouragement as you mostly miss big. Strike out stuff that ends the game.

The blind squirrel method is just not worth it. Speaking of parody, you are becoming a parody of yourself.

Todd M -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 5:06:00 PM)

Breath of fresh air. Not someone so full of themselves they're only willing to give answers around answers.

Seems humble. Passionate.

Love the hire.

MDK -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 5:24:15 PM)

Don't know about the new GM. Name seems like he could be Muslim.
We will lose our christ connection where he is on our side to win.

Interesting to see who takes this seriously.
The humor gene is seriously lacking but with the Vikings success since 1968 when I started following them, it might be understandable.[;)]

Todd M.....agree with you completely. KAM gave a very impressive news conference.

Ricky J -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 6:22:50 PM)

I love the hire, too.

marty -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 7:20:41 PM)

Everything I hear about KAM, sounds like a great hire, a tremendous start for building a championship team.

ambear -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/27/2022 8:21:20 PM)

Like everyone else, I'll row the ship with this guy. Now it's time to piece together the rest of the puzzle.

The key thing is you were able to bring up a problem with a presumed religion under the guise of a quasi joke.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/28/2022 7:59:25 AM)

I know that Patterson, Zimmer, and Kubiak's sons will have to show they are capable or they will be shown the door....so at least there is that.

It was probably the worst assembled coaching staff in Zimmer's term here.

Todd M -> RE: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah -GM DISCUSSION- (1/28/2022 8:10:49 AM)

I'm not entirely convinced Kubiac is terrible.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking but I feel like there were Kubiac plays and Zimmer plays. Plays that Zimmer expected or overruled with.

Sometimes the offense looked different. Plays that were sharp. And timely. Surprising. Those were most assuredly K's.
