If he can't play at all, then IL him for sure. put him on the 60 day so you can add someone else to the 40 man roster (is Brooks Lee there yet?).

but if this is just a flare up....I wouldn't do anything at this point. Let the season play out. let hmi rest and see if it heals up enough to go.

I believe that is the plan. Barring a setback, he will pitch out of the bullpen to finish the year.
Next year, likely in the rotation.

Ober out of the bullpen is not ideal at all.
He's a slow starter to games too often.
So is Maeda

I took my son's dog to KC last night for "Bark in the Park." It was a hoot. It's been too long since I've been to Kauffman Stadium.

KC did well to hang in there in the B8.
