Lakers FO wants to fill the seats, not win championships.

LeBron James is expected to play up to two more seasons in the NBA, sources told Shams Charania, Jovan Buha, and Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The Lakers are open to offering James any deal to return, including a three-year, $164 million max extension.

James has a $51.4 million player option for next season.

The Lakers are also open to the idea of drafting Bronny James.

James' relationship with Jeanie Buss is described as being "better than ever."

Draft Bronny right before their pick and offer him to the Lakers for a 2027 first round pick.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 7:21:07 AM)

Ant been getting a lot of love from the talking heads.

Go Wolves

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 5:51:19 PM)

Looking forward to game 1 tonight/series. Good luck!

TJSweens -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 6:33:58 PM)

If KAT threw elbows like Joker, he'd foul out in the first quarter.

bstinger -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 7:08:39 PM)

Bench is AWOL in the 1st half. ANT needs some help.

bstinger -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 7:25:33 PM)

That was a special sequence, except KAT misses the and 1.

bstinger -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 7:29:30 PM)

Playoff ready!!!!!!

Steve Lentz -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 8:27:34 PM)

ANT 35 points plus in last 3 road games.

bstinger -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 8:31:56 PM)

ANT is THE MAN. Great to start 1-0. Joker is ridiculous, should foul out in the first half.

Karl Juhnke -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 8:33:55 PM)

Nothing like a team winning game 1 on the road and instantly flipping the series.

TJSweens -> RE: Timberwolves 2023 - 2024 Season (5/4/2024 8:40:48 PM)

Ant the Assassin. Best player in the league and only 22 years old.

Good to see someone else say that. He's maturing so much in his entire game. He's a leader that everyone respects.
Great teammate and not afraid to let his teammates know what he expects.

So what happened to this T-Wolves team?
Last I remember the Rudy Gobert trade was a disaster? Haha
Amazing transformation, Joker is gonna have a real tough time against all that length.
You guys simply have more talent then the defending Champions.. Gotta be a great feeling.
And Edward’s- Holy shit! The turn around baseline jumper to seal the game was a classic Jordanesque game closer…
I don’t have to tell anyone in here he’s the real deal..
Awesome win..

Wolves will beat Denver in 5 or 6. They barely could squeeze by a dysfunctional Laker team that can't defend.

I hope so. We are playing well and are healthy so I certainly think we have a good chance. Rudy though, seems to struggle guarding the Joker.

Everybody struggles guarding the Joker. It's like saying water is wet. [&:]

Rudy is a different player this year. This is the vision we traded for. Last season he seemed only semi-engaged and out of sync. This year he is the central anchor of a well crafted defense and is playing with drive and purpose, and an efficient offensive player in an unconventional way, once they figured out how to use him.
