He is coming back from a knee surgery (MCL and ACL) done in mid January with a minor infection to boot......10 months from the injury, 9 months since the surgery. Probably still not considered conservative.

How is the NFL allowing this interview of AP and Dickerson? Every other word out of Lynch's mouth is either a "mf-er" or "shi..". Real classy. I had to turn the sound off because my 8YO's ears were burning. I'm no prude but come on NFL. How many kids are watching this?

Our stage 1 rocket booster just disengaged.

We are currently trying to course correct our trajectory from the last 8 qtrs (ie, orbiting with all the want-to-be contender space trash), to where we were first half into the GB game - heading for a gluttonous tailgate bbq in Asgard.

The first third of the season is its own season. Teams are figuring out what they’re good / bad at and adjusting. Especially with no preseason.

Lift-off was cool. Now we start to find out how real or fictional our incredible start was.

This is the wasted season I expected with Darnold, just got 5 games of early season joy.

Yea, excellent coaching on both sides of the ball today..

Referee bias… ya think? The back judge was looking RIGHT AT Darnold’s face, until it was ripped sideways..

The player who did it was guilty as hell and he knew it…

I e just become a casual fan…still my favorite team, but my bar of expectations in the NFL is we will be the last team to win a Super Bowl, even after the next round of international expansion teams..

IOW…

Long after I'm dust and scarp metal in an urn on my daughter’s fire place mantle.

She is 13.

People were saying last night that teams had figured out Flores’ Defense.

What was there to figure out?! Talk all year how we were confusing QB’s and we did nothing all game. Just a standard “rush” where no one had any fight in them. Nobody winning individual battles and nothing drawn up to generate pressure.

Last night was very Donnashellian. On top of that all the presnap penalties. Very disappointing but honestly not unexpected. If we don't jump out to a big lead we're doomed.

And now lets start the panic and dooom and gloom.

Bflo's defense is about confusion and generating pressure due to that confusion. Lions and Rams have exposed the weakness in quick passing game. ball out before any pressure can be generated. Bflo needs to adapt now.

Refs were a problem last night but the truth is the short week left us unprepared to counter the quick passing game. The Vikings played a very sloppy game and it cost us. I expect a much better game vs the Colts with 10 days to prepare.

Losing Darrisaw is going to hurt though. It didn't look good when they took him off the field.

I still contend Jefferson doesn’t tilt the field. His targets are seldom running free. Addison averages less than 3 catches a game. Same with Nailor. Jones has had one 100 yards d game.

I put it on Kevin. Disjointed if it ain’t scripted.

He was anointed this great coach. Never really earned it. He could get there but I think it's time to pump the brakes a bit.

Nailor dropped a 3rd down pass that would have kept a drive going in the RZ.

How many first downs did we give them on 3rd down via penalty?

Playcalling on offense and defense was lame.

And lastly......I've bitched about them so many times - in wins and losses - but the refs are ****ing brutal.

It sounds dumb, but I invest time and emotion into watching these games and cheering for my team, just to have this shit happen over and over. There is NO excuse for them missing that call in the EZ. Period. If that's how much they want to spend on getting this critical part of their product right, then I guess I'm gonna go back to not really watching or caring anymore. I'm sure that sounds like a fatalistic overreaction or hyperbole, but it's like I was having this great meal for like 3 hours, then the waiter came and shit on the table and delivered a bill for $500. No thanks.
