I hate - Let’s just wait and see. Or - We’ll have to see….

BORING.

Just say you have no imagination or ability to dream about stuff and can only analyze after the fact.

re: memoizing plays, formations, concepts, etc

reporter: I know some of the guys record themselves on the phone, listen back to it. Like, what do you do to learn everything?

#9: Yeah, I do that as well. Coach McCown ... he'll go through the script and say it in his phone and then send it to us, and that's always great to do. But I'll have my fiance just read it back to me, and then go through the whole play, and we'll do that almost every night, and that helps, too. Plus writing down the plays every single time we get the script. You read it, you write it, you see it, and then you start hearing it ...

Love all the talk about records.

Let’s blow the roof off this thing.

A bit unsettling…

4th round pick Khyree Jackson died in a car accident.

Had a lot of hope for him.

David Levine -> RE: General Vikes Talk (7/6/2024 12:53:56 PM)

Wow.

And the woman who hit them was, of course, uninjured.

Tragic.

3 people killed and I bet booze was involved. It’s really a shame.

kevinemmer -> RE: General Vikes Talk (7/6/2024 2:11:10 PM)

Really horrible. [:@]
3 young lives, gone in an instant.
Vikings family, hit by another tragedy.

Chris Olson -> RE: General Vikes Talk (7/6/2024 2:11:26 PM)

RIP Khyree.

Sad to hear for multiple reasons…I also had high hopes for him.

And at the risk of sounding callous, I can’t help but wonder if we get a compensatory pick for him

I'm 99% sure we don't. Khyree had no fault in the accident he was just a passenger in a car struck by a drunk. I just wonder if any of the dead were wearing seatbelts. I'm guessing not. Wear seatbelts people.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: General Vikes Talk (7/6/2024 5:37:37 PM)

Happy Birthday TGS..

RIP , Kyree… ..

Damn cursed franchise…

[sm=icon_sarcasm.gif]

Another HUGE FAIL by Qeasy…

RIP KJackson

ratoppenheimer -> RE: General Vikes Talk (7/7/2024 2:58:22 AM)

.
khyree jackson is one of those people who's easy to root for....

started with community colleges, including one in Kansas, another in Yuma, Arizona, and finally in east mississippi....
took time off of college to work - earn some money....

“I am heartbroken by the loss of Khyree,” Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said in a Saturday statement. “As we got to know him throughout the pre-draft process, it was clear the goals Khyree wanted to accomplish both professionally and personally. His story was one of resilience.”

Jackson attended five schools and three junior colleges. He once quit football, worked at Chipotle, envisioned a professional career playing NBA 2K and even sliced deli meats at Harris Teeter, where he was named the grocery store’s manager of the month. An impromptu phone call from a coach at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas reignited the football dream. There, he met former NFL cornerback Joey Thomas, who watched the 6-foot-4, 194-pound receiver swivel his hips once before saying: “He could be a star at cornerback.”

I will never understand driving around at 3AM.

One can only assume they closed some club down as well as the woman whom caused the accident. Guess we'll know more when the toxicology reports (if) become public.

A.terrible tragedy. Three young lives lost to a reckless driver.

I think it was Denny Green who said nothing good ever happens at 3 in the morning.

Todd M -> RE: General Vikes Talk (7/8/2024 9:01:06 AM)

And that came to me the 2nd I heard it.

Still a shame some drunk bitch didn’t heed that warning.

Good rule of thumb

Nothing good happens after midnight.
Get home, there are far too many people you simply don't want to be around after midnight. if it is not required by your job or other important reasons just go home.

Grandparents and parents always said midnight or be extra careful.

Top 25 NFL players 25 and under for 2024

23. Christian Darrisaw
Position: OT | Team: Minnesota Vikings | Age: 25

One of the most underdiscussed big men in the NFL, the former first-rounder has missed multiple games due to injury each year. When healthy, however, he's been a top-graded pass blocker, helping pave the way for top-tier Kirk Cousins performances under Kevin O'Connell from 2022-2023.

1. Justin Jefferson
Position: WR | Team: Minnesota Vikings | Age: 25

"Jets" missed literally 40% of the 2023 season and still topped 1,000 yards receiving for the fourth time in four years. He remains one of, if not the toughest wideout to guard in all of football, and his effortless explosion turns routine plays into potential home runs. The undeniable face of the Vikings after less than a half-decade of NFL play, Jefferson is already on a Hall of Fame trajectory.

People have to learn that, but generation after generation makes the same mistake.

Could Jordan just have one off-season go by where a driving offense wasn't an issue? Just one.

they found him sleeping inside a rolls royce while parked in the #1 lane of a freeway near lax - at 11:30pm...when processed, they determined he was drunk....

the players' union has to realize that for some of their union members, having to leave the teams' facilities is just not a good idea...but it should be an option if the member wishes to stay....
