While KOC can improve in his play calling, I think he is improving in it, getting better at sticking with the run more, but he seems afraid to run it on 3rd and 2.

While I like the idea of passing for it most of the time on 3rd and 2, if you never run the ball on it, it becomes easier to defend as it's fully expected you will pass.

I thought the Vikings should have run the ball on the play where Jones scored his TD, but I was probably wrong, it was a good play design, and maybe a surprise they were going to the guy who has recently had fumble problems.

I thought that running the ball there, would have forced Arizona to use their timeouts. But it wasn't necessary.

My .02

Why do we so frequently take these games down to the wire?

WTF with the fumbles Aaron Jones?

Do we know what a hot read is? You know if a blitz is coming you automatically go to X on the slant...

We led this game for a total of 1:12 of game time.

Arizona was dictating this game almost start to finish. It took the best team in football a last second field goal to beat us. Why is it that a mediocre at best team has a chance to beat us with a FG late?

Our offense looked lifeless for most of the game, then Arizona pulled a Zimmer and went into premature prevent mode. We won because they decided to get soft.

Kudos for the comeback. Nice to know there is still no give up in this team.

1:12 to go one point lead, other team has been matriculating down the field with ease most of the day, three time outs, all they need to do is get into FG range and this defense that allows the quick movement of teams down the field frequently...I was certain we were still going to lose when Jones scored the TD. Clock management is still an issue.

We won. But it sure didn't feel that way.

The way the offense was struggling most the day, I don't think you get cute and try to make the Cardinals burn TOs or run the ball to take more time off the clock.

You get the ball in the End Zone anyway possible.

Defense needed to show up and they did.

I didn't say they should have tried to drag it out. I agree they need to put the ball in the endzone and take the lead. I was just convinced by all that other stuff happening so frequently in this game and previous games that I was sure the Cardinals would roll right into FG and win it at the end. Just like the Bears tying it last week. The Lions beating us earlier this year etc.

I was very happy to be wrong.

The defense saved our asses this game, keeping the Cardinals out of the endzone most of the game. and sealing the win with a pick.
