I understand now.

The game happens too quickly for the refs to see the defender grab Hock's arm, or the obvious safety earlier, but it slows down for them to make calls in favor of the Vikings.

But the real story is Sam not being able to make many throws.

I don't know, maybe this is what we needed. Definitely should be a wake up call and a humbling moment from top down.

The Vikings should have saved the locker celebration for this week, should have kept the focus on winning this game.

The Vikings can't stop Gibbs, and don't match up well with the Lions. But the big story was Sam was off the mark.
