Tavierre Thomas Thomas joins Minnesota ahead of his eighth NFL season, having first entered the league as an undrafted free agent with Cleveland in 2018. He played in 45 games for the Browns from 2018-20 before spending three seasons with the Texans (2021-23) and appearing in 36 games. Thomas played in all 17 games for the Buccaneers in 2024. The Detroit native, who turned 29 on Tuesday, has totaled 239 tackles, six tackles for loss, two QB hits, two interceptions, six passes defensed, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a sack in 98 career games (22 starts). Thomas teamed with Greenard and Cashman in Houston and overlapped with Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah in Cleveland in 2020.
