Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 1:37:48 PM)

Is the upcoming pick in the 5th the last chance for a hopeful starter at C or RB?

Center is gettting real thin. Not many RBs taken.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 1:42:47 PM)

Target a premium position - at a position we are light at - with someone who has some good special teams tape.

CB.

Murph -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 1:49:04 PM)

Ham replacement

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 1:51:58 PM)

Another tight end.. yea!

Why do we keep Dropenson?

FB

Anti-premium position. But very likely the top-rated FB in the draft. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 1:56:34 PM)

Man, chiefs got a decent RB out of Nebraska..

Tom Sykes -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:01:18 PM)

Going to stop bitching and moaning and focus on the real meat and potatoes of this weekend: UDFAs.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:01:19 PM)

Hockenson, T.J.
Oliver, Josh
Yurosek, Ben
Bartholomew, Gavin
Nesbit, Bryson

And we draft another ****ing TE.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:02:16 PM)

Finally pick a DB…

Demmings, Stephen A Austin

DavidAOlson -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:04:15 PM)

Wow. Johnson and Rivers were two of the guys I was hoping the Vikes might get with their 5th round picks. Bing, Bing, before the Vikes pick Demings.

OKay. I don't know anything other than where they sit on the consensus draft board.

I don't know... not very exciting pick but if he plays FB probably has more impact this year than most of the guys I see left on the board.

I was hoping RB... but Vikes must really not like anybody.

Not super excited about trotting out Jones/Mason again.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:07:21 PM)

Wow, we're up to a whopping 5 CBs on the roster now.

Agree.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:10:46 PM)

This is the most depressing career stat line I have ever seen..

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/max-bredeson-1.html

How is this guy, who played 12 snaps in 5 years, worth a draft pick?

He has minimum udfa invite written all over him…

I would have preferred him over Max Pedestrian.

Todd M -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:18:17 PM)

Mr 2.4.

As in yards/game

Phil Riewer -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:20:58 PM)

I think the like Clairborne from Wake but no one likes these rbs that much.

Look at his stat page and explain how a guy like him is a fullback replacement for Ham?

6-2.. 222 lbs..

NO CARRIES IN FIVE YEARS..

12 plays in 5 years!

Omfg….

How does that career, in college even keep a scholarship

Oh wait.. he was a walk on..

Now he get to roll up to Eden prairie in his spanking new Kia..

Those were receptions, and I assume he had 0 carries?

Ham had 17 carries the past 5 years. 6 carries the last 3 years.

I didn't initially realize he was a FB.

This is why the chiefs are in a different category of management and coach..

Emmett Johnson

Emmett Johnson, a standout running back for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, finished his collegiate career (2022–2025) with 2,460 rushing yards, 702 receiving yards, and 20 total touchdowns.

His breakout 2025 season included 1,451 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 46 receptions, leading him to earn First-Team All-Big Ten and Big Ten Running Back of the Year honors

Ham had 17 carries the past 5 years. 6 carries the last 3 years.
so we replaced his loss, with a guy with ZEROS?

I can’t even begin to express how stupid that pick seems..

Completely dysfunctional organization. Hopefully one day it will change but that time isn't now unfortunately.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2026 NFL Draft (4/25/2026 2:55:16 PM)

Max's stats are no big deal. After all, we threw away a 4th for Thielen and his 8 receptions.
