David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/2/2026 5:05:19 PM)

Anthony Edwards missing tonight with an illness means he will no longer be eligible for postseason awards.

Bill Jandro -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/8/2026 5:49:11 AM)

looks like we draw Denver for rd 1. Unless Ant/Jaden/Naz are healthy this series will be short.

Karl Juhnke -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/8/2026 6:24:34 PM)

I did not have starting lineup of Anderson, Ingles, Naz, McDaniels, DiVincenzo on my bingo card tonight.

I’m at the point where I don’t even care who first round matchup is any more. It’s alwaysa battle. They’ve shown they’re competitive in the playoffs with anyone. Bring ‘em on.

We have no incentive to win, have players that we need to get healthy and Rudy should absolutely not play in the final 2 games.

And Finch always plays Ingles against Orlando and Utah.

Oh yes I get it. I shouldn’t have been surprised. But I was. I was actually most surprised by McDaniels. Last I had heard they hoped to get him back for playoffs. So to suddenly see him back in there and playing well was a nice surprise.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/9/2026 11:13:30 AM)

I had high hopes for TJ.....

Phil Riewer -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/11/2026 8:14:03 AM)

TSJ looks healthy. Wonder if he gets some run in the playoffs.

wrh -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/16/2026 8:18:48 AM)

Wow, is it true the first round series between Wolves and Nuggets will only be televised on Prime? If so this may drive me completely away from the NBA

wrh -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/16/2026 8:55:54 AM)

found info myself. Amazon Prime is the only broadcaster for Games 1, 3, and 4 of the Timberwolves-Nuggets series, with Game 2 on NBC Others TBD

NBA TV may do replays of games. Just means NBA has lost one loyal viewer, hope their viewing numbers tank. I personally will not give Amazon and Bezos my business.

NFL is in trouble for the same thing.....local teams on the local stations to maybe not be a monopoly.

NBA is going to run into it eventually.

So I can cancel my Fan Duel Network for the summer?

Do people (at least outside of Canada...) really enjoy watching this crap?

Murray with 30 points on 7 made FGs.
30 points
7-22 FGs
0-8 3FGs
16-16 FTs

Shai with 25 points on 5 made FGs
25 points
5-18 FGs
0-4 3FGs
15-17 FTs

It's the inconsistency too that drives me crazy. The Wolves got called for multiple fouls in a row on light contact on 3 point shots in the first half. Later in the second half someone got knocked to the ground on a 3 and no call. This time it was to the Wolves benefit, but holy crap how are players even supposed to play not knowing when the whistle will blow and when it won't?

Turned into a flopping league.....Shai and Murray have won titles doing it. They tried toning it down but they are true professionals at it.

What bothered me more than anything was the Murray not given enough room to land after a 3 in game 1.......it is hardly ever called for Ant and that particular call shouldn't have been called as the defender was straight up on Murray even.

I saw that and obviously don't understand the rule comepletely. Murray was clearly outside the 3 pt line initiating his shot, McDaniels stopped his defensive footwork about a full foot inside the 3 pt line. How much latatude is given for a player jumping forward with their shot?

It is a judgement call and once again the floppers get the call.

Pretty sure that the shooter isn't suppose to be jumping forward into the defender. That was a not the correct call by the official.

With all the playoff games the first couple rounds may have crews that aren't the best...for sure.

Ayo was Ant-Like last night.

Jaden backs up his talk and dominates.

Fun to watch.

Ayo is incredibly fast. Even after a Nugget bucket he'd beat their entire team down the floor for a layup.

I believe they had Donte, Ayo, and Bones playing at the same time......it is very entertaining.

I got sucked into the draft but restarted the game about 40 mins behind....so strange they subbed out Jokic and Murray when down 13 with about 4 minutes left.

I wish Ant played more like Ayo. He'd be the best player in the league if he did.

Ant loves to play slow and methodical. He makes slow decisions and generally has to go against set defenses.

Ayo is a blur with intent. He attacks the basket at every opportunity, he pushes the ball in transition every time, he's never sticky with the ball and he's always thinking 1 or 2 moves ahead.

David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (4/26/2026 9:57:08 AM)

About as "good" of news as we could hope for.

Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has sustained a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee and is expected to miss multiple weeks, sources tell ESPN. Results showed Edwards avoided any ligament damage, but he will now miss time.
