ORIGINAL: BisonFan This team is reminding me of the Les Steckel days. Yuck! Like mentioned earlier this team is old and cannot stay healthy. The most important position on the team, QB, has no clue of what is going on. Today's game was like watching a train wreck. I am usually optimistic about the team, but I really don't believe we will another game this season. If that means it gets rid of Kwesi, the line coach, and special teams coach I am good with that. We need to start over or at least a real reset to get a good team back on the field in a couple of years. Let's just don't screw up our draft picks!!!!! So tired of thinking that. Do you think a new GM is going to want O'Connell as their coach? Hire a new GM. Bring KOC in for a talk. Tell him he needs to give up playcalling. We need to run an offense that doesn't rely solely on big chunk plays. We need to figure out an offense that can get short yardage 1st downs and that can score easily inside the 10. If he says no to all that, maybe you give Flores a shot. Good luck getting a good GM that can't immediately hire the coach of their choice. Okay. Stay the course and keep bitching.[:'(] So you are insinuating a new GM should not have authority to hire a new HC? There are plenty of people to fill the role of a neutered GM. Exactly. Give me a GM with the sack to make the tough decisions. Nobody worth a damn is gonna roll with softy KOC as a coach. You guys are probably right. But, does KOC look better right now if we aren't drafting stiffs at an 80% rate? I guess what I am saying is you bring in a new GM. KOC could still be in the picture if he makes some changes that the GM wants. He's had some success here. Granted, just regular season success, but he might get one more year to right the ship. That's a more reasonable take, but a legit GM says I will decide. And with 44% of the league's teams making the playoffs every year, "just regular season success" doesn't mean much.
