Whoa ... always wonder how people like that live long lives.
Not possible in my neighborhood.

And you live in the sticks, right?

yep ... cornstalks, sticks, and rolling pastures.

lots of hunting accidents in those places

very very dangerous places .... [;)]

Well shit, I thought it would be easy to come pick you up for the party in October....[;)]

It would be easier for me to just swing a bit out of my way and grab him when I go.

SoMnFan -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (8/16/2016 2:28:43 PM)

Yup, our boy Davids out in the sticks too. [:D]

Ricky J -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (8/16/2016 2:30:20 PM)

I wouldn't of guessed that ... I thought he was a Twin Cities guy

edit: and that you were more south central

Perilously close to South Dakota.
Both of us

Really!?

Ok then. My people come from around Springfield, Sleepy Eye, Morgan, etc. (Mankato would be the biggest town)

Good places.
Know a bunch of people in all of them.
They're on our sports schedules, and have some relatives in a couple of them.

That would be optimum!

If SoMnFan is The Sticks then I live in The West Sticks. I work even more to the west. When we play golf there's a hole where you can tee off in MN and land in SD. The game gets delayed when the wagon trains and buffalo come through.

Sounds good. I look forward to hearing the whole story.

This news will hit home for Minnesotans. The remains of Jacob Wetterling have been found.

The scum that has been in jail as a suspect in another kidnapping finally told them where to find Jacob, and the DNA tests confirmed it was him.

That poor family. All of these years of clinging to a little hope, distributing age progression drawings, working for other families with missing children ... and now such horrible finality.

And ... the FIRST guy they suspected ... ended up being the Slimy MFer who did it.
P.
O.
S.
All that publicity, all that time, that piece of filth was right there. Right there.
Disgusting.

Lynn G. -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/3/2016 11:45:05 AM)

Imagine how vile a person you have to be to not only commit such a horrendous crime in the first place, but then spend YEARS watching them make those appeals, updating his drawings, talking about Jacob ...

... and never even anonymously leaking information about where they could find him.

Unspeakable.

SoMnFan -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/3/2016 12:02:24 PM)

Perfect word.
Vile.
Makes me angry. Angry and disgusted.

Todd M -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/18/2016 8:24:43 AM)

Sorry, I know there's a big game and who cares about me but I am just bursting with happiness right now and have to share.

If you read around the general consensus for normal, healthy, non diabetic fasting numbers you'll generally find a range from 4.0 to 5.5 (72-99)

I've been seeing fasting numbers in the 4's for weeks on end now. Last night I junked out worse than I have this entire journey...we're talking fish and chips, 2 regular pops, and a whole large bag of sweedish berries - my fasting this morning was 4.8. Pretty much confirming that my diabetes is in remission! Yes, that is my number medication free.

Ricky J -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/18/2016 8:49:29 AM)

Cool beans!

Bill Jandro -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/18/2016 8:53:48 AM)

Way to go Todd

Lynn G. -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/18/2016 10:24:25 AM)

Thumbs up Todd!

So great, Todd. Diabetes is a motherfucker, and you beat that motherfucker back. Not easy to do.

SoMnFan -> RE: Vikes water cooler thread (9/19/2016 9:38:43 AM)

Couldn't be happier for ya Todd.
So damn awesome.
You da man.

I'm glad I misread that. I almost swore that you wrote banjo metal. I was thinking, what kind of God-forsaken, bastard child music is that?

NICE.

You've worked hard to get there. No reason not to be proud and happy for the results.

You should be an inspiration to people.
