I know it's simple to do but, where do I go to change my password; I'm overlooking it.

Thanks to Toby-

Click on "My Profile" and once on that screen up in the upper/left you will see the "login" option and right next to that is (change password) - Click on that.

Random question:

Is there some way to eliminate the general smileys from our personal screen AND put our regular "special" smileys in so that they automatically appear on our side?

Not a huge deal.  But I'm just lazy and I hate clicking through.

:)

And Toby, find me my damn Borat wedding sack smiley will you?

hehe

Toby Stumbo -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 6:10:40 AM)

I plan on putting some of our old smileys in the main window but just haven't had time yet.

Find the pic and I'll make the avatar for you. [8D]

OK in trying to use the quote function, I find wecan't cut and paste. In order to do that, we have to type in the quote code and paste within on a new post. Is there a fixable solution?

Toby Stumbo -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 10:45:38 AM)

Not sure I understand what your asking.  If you quote a message it should be quoted already.  You trying to quote multiple messages?

If I want to add a link to a post that I'm quoting, I can't paste it as there is no EDIT and no task bar.

Oh, do you have quotes and new posts opening in new window?  I have mine set at in-line and have those options which is why I was confused.

Jim Frenette -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 10:59:02 AM)

Yes, it is a pop up window. That also is the way an edit comes up. Is there a way I can change the look?

I found it, and am editing in the inline form.

Thanks.

hrerikl -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 11:07:10 AM)

I have found that when I don't have a right click copy/paste availlable <CTRL>-C (copy) and <CTRL-V> Paste still work fine.

Jim Frenette -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 11:10:29 AM)

Is there a fix in the works so I don't have to hit the "Mark Forum as Read" It doesn't always work. This is not a big problem, just confusing at times.

Toby Stumbo -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 11:12:29 AM)

There is a new version of this software coming out which is supposed to fix it.  We're waiting to see.

hrerikl -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 11:13:00 AM)

Jim it something I believe will be fixed with the new release in a few weeks.  If it isn't i will look at doing something myself ater that.  Have you tried using the view posts since last visit?  I am finding it my preferred way to get caught up.

Rrik

Jim Frenette -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 11:21:25 AM)

I have no problem viewing the posts as they don't take me back to the start. It is I keep seeing the yellow flag and open it and there aren't any new posts to read. I end up lonely and depressed.[:o][:D]

Duane Sampson -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 11:22:22 AM)

That needs fixed, Fargo. I agree and we'll get it......

I understand I just find this link easier to see if there are any new posts.

Lynn G. -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/19/2007 4:16:22 PM)

Erik,

I've been converted to your method of using the "Posts Since Last Visit" method.  For those who haven't done it yet, when you're on the main forum menu screen, just go all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "posts since last visit."  It'll show the ones that have new posts and if you click on the little yellow arrow it'll take you to where you left off.

Works swell.

Andy Lowe -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/20/2007 6:39:39 PM)

How do we get avatars to work?

Toby Stumbo -> RE: RE:Questions and Answers (12/20/2007 6:42:27 PM)

Go in "My Profile" and change your viewing preference to "flat style"
