Another Friday night lose, this time to Notre Dame.
We looked slow and got beat to almost every puck last night.
Hope these Friday night loses 2 weeks in a row don't start a trend. This one hurts more than last week because we are at home this week.

Notre Dame wins again Saturday to sweep the Gophers.
That should take care of that dang #1 ranking.

Apparently being swept at home didn't sit well with the boys and they took it out on Arizona. I didn't get tuned in until after 8 PM and could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the score was 6-0 already.

Picked right up where they left off today, for a 10-2 win.
Game started out close but the Gophers blew it open in the 2nd period and never looked back.

The Gophers keep it going with a 5-1 win over Ohio State Friday in another good outing where they had the puck most of the game.
Another early start today going for the sweep at 4 PM.

Coulda been worse. We are too unselfish at times. Ranta's dominance reminds me of "Vanek with speed" at times. He just shows flashes of absolute domination.

Good luck stopping Cole Caufield. I have a bad feeling about this series.

Last series with them was a split in their house, so I think we will be ok.
If we can make Caufield play more defense than offense we should be fine.

A tight hockey game blown open in a few minutes by Bucky in the 3rd period and that was all it took.
Caufield got behind our D twice and buried it both times. You were right, Caufield was the difference maker last night.
Need to step up and take tonight's game or Bucky takes the lead in the B10 from us.

Well I am glad I didn't tune in last night. It sounds like Bucky really kicked our asses last night.
Back to work for the boys this week. They need a big time bounce back to try and get some mojo going again.

A good game played by the boys last night on the road to beat Notre Dame 3-0.
A good bounce back game after that poor performance against Bucky last weekend.
Almost need a sweep today to keep pace now, but if they keep playing the way they can they should be ok.

Another 3-0 win today for a weekend sweep.
Bucky took a beating today at the hands of Michigan, so the Gophers are back on top of the B10 standings by 5 points.
A good weekend for sure.

Gophers take care of business with a 4-2 win over MSU. Need to make it a sweep today to maintain their spot at the top of the B10.
With their series against Penn State canceled due to Covid, causing an uneven schedule, they need to keep their win percentage up in order to win the division based on percentages instead of points.

Missed the game yesterday, but from all reports it was over by the end of a 4-0 1st period.
The best news is Bucky tied Notre Dame yesterday, meaning a win and a tie against Michigan in 2 weeks will get us the B10 title based on win percentage.

Why would we intentionally try to get another school to co-opt the name? They need to have their own mascot.
