Their guys are sacrificing everything they have right now.

And they don't take themselves out of the play .. they stay in control, pop up and block the next one.

Watching Union against BC I knew if we got here it was going to be our best opponent of the season.

One year ago ... biggest game I've ever been involved in ... down by one entering third period ..... tied it with a minute and a half left, won it in OT.
I'll take that again, please!

I mentioned the other day that thier FC was in your face. It's bit us in the ass a few times. We've calmed down but that final PP (and all of them, to be honest) was too passive. Stop with the "one timers" from the top of the circle and outside shooting.


We are bigger and more skilled. Get it down low and get to the FRONT OF THE ****ING NET!

According to history that last 9 years not even that good. Team leading after 2 is 8-1 in that period.

Pressure on them, but we can't be sloppy.
Have to stay sharp on D. Cant allow sustained pressure in our end. (or any breakaways)
Wilcox has to be perfect.

We can hope brother. We need Lucia and guys like Warning/Rau to step up. They are shoving our strenghts down our throats. We need to get the puck in front of the goal and just will it in. They have sold out to stop everything from the outside.

Love the kid, but he's been a no-show.
Hes skating like its practice out there.
Very careful.
He has the skill level to win this game for us if he adds the urgency.
He's always reminded me of Vanek.
Well, Vanek WOULD win this one for us.

Yep.
I know its frustrating for some people to watch ... but they do need to hang on to the puck and make one more move AFTER the Union guy flops
It almost happened twice towards the end there
