Yup. This group is playing out it's last year as Gophers much like Schroeder did. Like a bunch of punks with big heads and one foot already out the door. It sucks to only have next season to look forward to on February 1st, when we should be building for the final push to the tourney. GO BSU!!!!!

Little weasel from Wiscy that kneed Reilly gets one whole game off for damn-near ending a guys career.
Was so cute how the ref left him in the game and let him win it in the shootout.

That to me is when reffing is at its worst.
Wiscy is 2-17
Think they give a crap about other players safety?
All those cheap scrums where they took a half-dozen shots, and then the Gophers meekly pushed back .... were handled completely wrong.
You know who's instigating and who's not. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Yet refs often act oblivious to situation .....

The thing about it that pissed me off the most is Isackson was the only one to stand up for him. Right after that happened I was seriously hoping we would take a few runs at Besse with our sticks and elbows high. Would have served the pricks right to have their top scorer taken out as well.

Well, they actually put on a pretty good effort in last nights win. It was about time they actually played some defense and believe it or not, I even saw a few body checks delivered by a Gopher for a change. Granted Ohio State isn't a very good team, but at this point I will take baby steps.
Sure would be nice to see them complete the sweep tonight, if nothing else for their confidence.

When you consider we have a pretty good chance of winning the tourney in this crappy conference, there's still a pretty good chance we make the NCAA's. Nobody will want to be matched up with a lowly seeded Gophers team. Kind of like when Kentucky was an 8 seed and got matched up with a #1 in the 2nd round. Not really fair to that #1 seed.

Yeah it would be kinda fun to sneak into the tourney with a low seed and then see them finally play up to their potential when it counts.

Can't believe the Gophers are currently "in" according to the PairWise rankings. Won't even need to win the Big 10 tourney. Although I suppose if a Big 10 team other than Michigan wins it, that could bump the Gophers out. There's also probably 1 or 2 automatic bids from the lower conferences that will take up spots in the tourney.

Loved the shortie and love the hustle. It IS fun to see them play the way we expected them to. Maybe it's because I'm wearing the Gopher hoodie that I got for Christmas with that cute little skating Gopher gliding across the front.
