THATS how you make changes to bad history.
With plays like that.
You stop bending over and letting teams dictate to you.
You stand up and smack them back.

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:11:00 PM)

Time for the defense to step up--make the adjustments Roof!

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:14:22 PM)

I forgot about Theret and Campbell being out--that's a big blow.

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:19:21 PM)

You've GOT to be kidding me. You have to make that tackle after about five yards, and Tramaine Brock is a moron.

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:20:34 PM)

That's what happens when you make stupid football plays. What can I say; it's the Gophers.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:21:17 PM)

Welcome back to the future.
Suddenly can't stop anyone.
Badgers passing on us like WE'RE cheese.

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:26:41 PM)

Laughable. Simply laughable. Congrats boys.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:29:05 PM)

I'm the anti-Godfather ...
"Just when I thought I was in, they push me back out",
[:'(]

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:35:19 PM)

Why punt?
We haven't stopped you all second half.
And if we did, we'd just commit a dumb penalty.
Got a 93 yd drive in the bag, Brewski?

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:35:30 PM)

This team has the resiliency of a wet spaghetti noodle.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:35:58 PM)

How about another safety?

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:36:44 PM)

Sure, why not.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:36:52 PM)

Yep, no backbone.
Once it turned, they rolled over.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:38:02 PM)

I figure (MN thinking), if we just keep taking safeties, we won't get beat quite so bad.
Then we'll feel better about ourselves in the morning.
And, thats really all its about.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:39:19 PM)

We're the Twins ... still getting killed by the 2-run homer.

Jake Carlson -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:39:23 PM)

Weber is so incredibly overrated.  If Gray can't beat him out next year I'll be very surprised.

Pete M. -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:43:58 PM)

I just keep on coming back to: "But it's the Gophers." What a group of heartbreakers the Twin Cities sports scene has given us.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:45:25 PM)

Too funny
We're gonna do it again.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:46:05 PM)

THANK YOU SIR!
MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:47:09 PM)

We have less than 40 yds of offense this half.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:50:04 PM)

I will say ... we are innovative
I've never seen a team go into PREVENT on both defense AND offense.

Jake Carlson -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:58:03 PM)

This downhill slide started when Brewster grabbed his skirt and went into the lockerrom instead of getting into scoring position at the end of the first half.  That was gutless and just plain stupid considering how the game was playing out at that time.   In a game like this you ride the momentum as far as it will take you since you know it's going to change at some point.  You need to get as large of a lead as you can to prepare for this inevitable change.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 5:58:41 PM)

Hear, hear.

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 6:00:55 PM)

No discipline, no backbone, no killer instinct, no chance.
Lets go to Shreveport in December again and get our asses handed to us by Southwestern Northern Western East Louisiana.
Yay!

So.Mn.Fan -> RE: Gopher Football (11/15/2008 6:04:35 PM)

Salomon and Green need to hold on until some more players get in here.
O Line needs help. Defense needs depth. Special teams need improvement.
