I'd have gone for it. Penalty for first down or conversion. Why give the ball to them. I don't care if it's at the 1 or 2 yard line.

Defense had zero stops. They bet they Hawks would be conservative. Almost gave up a first down, but stopped enough and got points.

Of course it would, the hit was clearly after the dropped pass. But Fleck gave them good field position by losing his cool.

Fleck's boneheaded run onto the field the biggest play of the game. What I want to know is that if the illegal hit happened first than that should have established a first down for us. They just announced that it was already Iowa ball and the penalty would not have given us first down. This all seems iffy to me.
