ORIGINAL: So.Mn.Fan http://www.startribune.com/sports/gophers/70119137.html?page=1&c=y Souhans best work ever ... Take it from a fellow sarcastic smart-ass, this is some great stuff. And man, is it dead-on. I think it's pretty shoddy myself. It's based on a false premise. He's comparing this game with one of the great NFL football games ever played. Why? Nobody else is doing that. He'd have a point if someone was trying to inflate the meaning and value of this win. But as it is, it's just pointless cheap shots. Sure Brewster's remarks were overly positive, but guess what, that's what coaches do. He'll be the first to tell you that he's not happy with where the team is at, but at the same time, he's got a program to sell. And there's no need to apologize for wins. Plus just my personal taste but I've never found Souhan funny. He could take a lesson from Reusse there. Reusse is hilarious...and his targets are well deserved.
