Jim Frenette -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 10:36:27 AM)

I'm in and Texas takes it all

Only 3 people in so far

djskillz -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 10:58:12 AM)

I'm in, Ian.

Heart says Duke; head says Kansas.

If Irving's back, Duke.

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 12:43:35 PM)

It will pick up.. besides, the games today and tomorrow dont count in terms of pick points..

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 7:57:43 PM)

This first of the four "First Four" game is pretty good going down the stretch. We'll see how it ends..

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 7:59:01 PM)

Overtime!!!

djskillz -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 9:20:01 PM)

Looks like I'm gonna be 2 for 2. [;)]

Wish these games counted. [>:]

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 9:43:02 PM)

LOL.. well, I had UAB beating WVU.. so I get to change that lol

I had/have Clemson beating them. So....

[:D]

It is strange that pretty much no one is counting those games. They should have at least used them as the tiebreaker or something. Especially the 12-seed ones. 12's win their "first rd" games pretty often.

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/15/2011 10:10:11 PM)

Nah.. not yet anyway. The first year of play-in games on this level, they cant count them. You could have your bracket shot off before the damn thing starts.

Maybe next year or so, when people get used to the First Four..

Jim Frenette -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/16/2011 10:46:07 AM)

Now hearing that Irving might be back, I should change my pick

Been thinking the same. I currently have Duke losing in the final to Kansas, but if Irving is at full strength and the transition is smooth....

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/16/2011 11:30:49 AM)

I dont trust Kansas to get to the arena on time, let alone win the tournament. Youre a better man than me, Dustin.

djskillz -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/16/2011 11:32:20 AM)

I like their talent. And matchups. Plus I think Self is a great coach; always have.

I've actually picked them 3 out of the last 4 years now. 1 right (their title year; picked them over Memphis before the season even began), 1 wrong (last year), and now this year.

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:02:38 AM)

Re-did my bracket(s).

We'll see what happens. Looks like in this year's competition the First Four and the Final Four are the same.

Unless others join tonight or early in the morning, see you three in Houston. [&:]

Horace Grant's newphew is having a helluva game early.. didnt even know this guy existed. He looks real good.

Yep. Clemson is not a bad team and should have never had to play in a play-in game at all. They're better than Georgia, for instance. I had them winning both their play-in and this game.

Ian Joseph -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:22:32 PM)

This Butler/ODU game is nice, too..

Really digging the CBS & Turner Broadcasting partnership to show every single game.

Me too.

Ya, the Butler/ODU game should be one of the best games of the entire tournament. Both are very good.

Mr. Ed -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:34:52 PM)

2 good games so far today.

Clemson had WVA on the ropes early. WVA stormed back. Huggins is a hoot to listen to when things are going poorly.

Mr. Ed -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:35:47 PM)

ODU and Butler has been good , too.

djskillz -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:48:52 PM)

Lots of ticky tack fouls called against Clemson. Changing this game.

Let the kids play.

Mr. Ed -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:57:33 PM)

WVA has turned it around.

Mr. Ed -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 12:58:13 PM)

Morehead St scores first 7 on louisville.

Mr. Ed -> RE: 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge (3/17/2011 1:22:18 PM)

I saw that game at 19-7 Morehad state

now 23-17.

WVA is getting into foul trouble, lead down to as little as six w/2+ left

Butler/ODU remains tight.
