Fun win. I was able to watch about 25% of it. After BGSU moved to within 1, I had to turn it for awhile to stop the jinx. I admit I did watch the last 5 minutes, with my eyes covered in Lynn-like fashion.

I've been there, but most of the time if a game is giving me enough anxiety to turn it off in the first place I rarely go back at the end. I've become such a wimp about that stuff after so many years of having losses stack up so much higher than wins. Back when things seemed to be more even I could sit through a loss and not think too much about it. Now it's just so one-sided I hate it.

Our chances of completing the sweep tonight against the league's #1 team is approximately 0%. But that takes almost all the pressure off as I watch. Really nothing to lose. Should be fun.

I see GBSU's goalie GAA is 2.06. Didn't realize they adjusted for pulled nets. Guess I should have known that. I'm an idiot.

There will be a lot of flipping tonight between BSU and MLB. Costas is doing the baseball game, which makes it even more alluring. But the BSU announcers are almost as good.

Eric Monsrud has the easiest job in broadcasting. He hardly says anything during play. He says a sentence or two during rare stoppages. And bumbles thru a little analysis between periods. It's a great gig if you can get it. I nominate SMF to replace him.

What's his face says, "Yeah, I've seen the end of a lot of your 3rd periods as we get ready for the men's game. It's exciting!" [&:][&:][&:][&:][&:]
