The Big 10 has 3 of the Top 8 teams in the country. Plus an underrated/pretty decent Michigan team.

Pretty damn impressive after all the criticism thrown towards that conference since its inception.

North Star Cup is history after this year. I'm a little disappointed. I've always enjoyed watching the games and having our state's teams compete against each other.

I suppose a team like BSU has a lot more to gain in this tournament than the U of M does. They also cited poor attendance. Bummer.

SCSU fell out of the top 20 rankings deservedly so a few weeks back. What I don't get is the last two weeks they split with the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the country and they haven't risen in the polls. 18th in the pairwise and probably need to get into the top 14 at a minimum to make the playoffs. Top 12 to be sure. Certainly doable.

So even if and when the championship game doesn't include the Gophers, it will not be televised? What a joke.
