Nope.
Because no guys we've EVER heard of tend goal in the NHL.
It's the weirdest phenomenon in sports.

One exception is Charlie Lindgren. Although I see he's back in the minors. Ugh.

Bitzer has 60 career wins
20 of them have been shutouts [:-][:-]

He's in second place all-time for shutouts in a career, topped only by Ryan Millers 26.

Do you think Bitzer playing in the revamped WCHA instead of the CCHA gives him an unfair advantage over Ryan Miller? Or was CCHA basically on the same level as the current WCHA? I think what Bitzer is doing is just as impressive.

Every bit as impressive, to me.
Not sure you'd call the Beaves a defensive juggernaut, focused solely on limiting shots and clogging lanes.
He's holding the best players in the nation scoreless, more often than not.
The kids a stud. was destined to be so.

I sent in my donation to Lakeland Public TV last month...and wrote a note "Bring back BSU hockey!"

I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the President of LPTV....saying "not our call, BSU thinks it was hurting attendance." Which I knew, but it was good to hear from them. Still think the whole thing is a bunch of crap.

One thing I do respect about the Sue ...
Went into a downtown bar to pick up a pizza, sat for awhile waiting ...
Twenty TVs, every one on the Sue/UMD game
You never have to ask up there, they know where their bread is buttered.

Really tough night for Bitzer last night at Huntsville. Gave up 4 goals on only 19 shots. BSU had 31 shots and could only get one by Uhelski. Huntsville is a respectable team these days. Kestner is a Hobey Baker finalist and brings the program some cache.
