Looks like the pundits already seem to think we're screwed against the Saints. Even a strib article Five Things to Know About the Vikings Saints rematch is essentially; five reasons why the Saints are too good for the Vikings. I guess I might as well not even bother watching.

I'm about as confident as a shell shocked life long Vikings fan can be. I'll be honest, the Saints were the NFC team I wanted to see the least, but I'm not afraid of them. If we stay healthy, the only real weakness the Vikings have is PK. I hope it never comes down to him to win a game.

I feel the same way guys. To me there are no "ifs" to worry about. The Vikings win with their A game no matter what the Saints do. It's that simple. Play their A game and win.

Brees threw for 291 and a score in the first go-round. And MN still beat them by 10

Zimmer should be playing up the chip/shoulder bit. That game is forever ago.

Play hard, kick some butt. I've read the D getting its due, EXCEPT that they played weaker teams at the end.

Any of those pundits were being honest and unemotional and logical would tell you the Vikings don't lose to other teams...they beat themselves. They don't turn the ball over they will win. They play disciplined they will win. They play their best game and nobody has a chance.

They scored their only TD against us with 1:56 left in the game when they were down by 17.

It was a garbage time score. When the game mattered, we held them to 4 FGs.

Now, no dissing what he'd done......but look at what ATL did to Goff. I would not have been surprised if another NFC team had done that to Wentz. I kept thinking Philly's year was smoke/mirrors to some extent.

All I have read today is how the Vikings are playing the last team they want to meet in the playoffs and how much better the Saints are now then they were in game 1.

The Saints weren't good in game 1 because they played a superior team.

We shut down offenses. keep them out of endzones. When this team is on its game, it is difficult to beat

Awesome. Enjoy! I was down there to watch Brainerd get creamed by Owatanna in the HS FB tournament. Seemed nice, but with only a few hundred fans it was nothing like a Viking game.
