“It’s certainly the worst knee dislocation in sports I’ve seen without having a nerve or vessel injury. It’s an injury that about 20-25 percent of NFL players are able to come back from,” Cooper said. “It’s a horrific injury. You’ve torn every single thing in your knee and it’s hanging on by one ligament on one side like a hinge.”

The first surgery took four-and-a-half hours. Cooper reconstructed the anterior cruciate ligament, then on the lateral, or outside, of the knee, he had to repair five ligaments. Bridgewater’s own hamstring tendon was used in the lateral reconstruction.

I see the Vikings followed the WE HAVE A REAL OWNER plan again this morning, acquiring another stud to add to our already stacked Defense.

While the Twins try to decide which flavor to add to the malted milk choices next year.
Get in or get the hell out. Cheapskates.

What a contrast.

Many of the Twins fans I know call me cynical, impatient, naive and a hater.

Thinking that a professional sports team should prioritize winning above all, seems to upset quite a few people.

I like it, but I'd like it better if it was a stud OL. Hopefully that's in the works.

They have money to sign someone that is cut and some trade bait....everyone close to the team thinks they will trade for a lineman.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins Fans (8/24/2018 12:36:46 PM)

The last roughing the passer penalty on the younger player, Williams, also reportedly involved him being fined.

So damn fun to watch the Beebe kid rip it up, just like his Dad did
He was the forerunner for Welker and Thielen and so many others.
Underestimated, but effective as hell and invaluable.

The one thing I love about Beebe is full effort all the time....I see the same out of Thielen and Diggs.

Adam Thielen left practice with an ankle injury today. Could be serious.

Adam Thielen walked off early in practice after turning his ankle. Kendall Wright stepped in for Thielen with the first-team offense. Thielen was able to walk off on his own.

It would really suck to have Thielen miss some time. Maybe the demise of Wright talk has been premature.

Pretty sure he was just hoping another of my favorites was biting the dust ....

CPAMAN -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins Fans (8/28/2018 5:30:53 PM)

I was listening to Paul Allen on my drive up to North Dakota last week Thursday. On his show, they were yacking up the Vikings (before the preseason game with Seattle) saying how their 15-1 Vikings record may need to be upgraded to 16-0. And they were entirely serious. They were saying, well, maybe we should put one in the loss column with both the Eagles and Patriots on our schedule. But then PA rebutted saying "no", I am going with 16-0.

What a clown. Vikings will go 10-6 at best. The O-line is suspect, as always, and will once again be the achilles heal of this over-rated team.

The Vikings have a better team this year than last. No question in my mind. Now will they go 13-3 or better probably not. That takes a lot of luck as well as being great. Will we finish better than 10-6? I have $20 saying we will. Is it a bet CPA man?

SoMnFan -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins Fans (8/29/2018 7:47:56 AM)

I'll take 10-6 in a heartbeat
As long as it gets us in
We need to play better once we are in. That's really all that matters.
Play your best ball at the end. That's what all champions do.
Schedule is brutal, theres zero chance we go 16-0. Almost zero chance we go 12-4 or better.
Doesn't matter in the end.
Wild Card teams win championships CONSTANTLY

I thought they were supposed to CONTEND

Ooops, sorry, wrong team.

twinsfan -> RE: Vikes talk for Twins Fans (8/29/2018 10:56:28 AM)

Vikes can get back to me when they actually deliver a championship.
