Washington is going to announce that it is officially dropping the Redskins name today. It's unclear if they will announce the new name at the same time.

I read a story that they would announce a new name at a later time. Supposedly Warriors is a leading candidate. Some already believe that is too close to Redskins and isn't appropriate, either.

Our hockey team has a unique nickname. (Wild) In that vein, how about the Washington Bold? Just a thought that carries no weight. Personally, I like the name Hogs of the names that have been considered.
