Any high draft pick needs to go along with new coach and GM leadership

Wilfs don't appear to be football people.

Extend a coach and GM before necessary, that was dumb.

Allowing a GM to pay big money for two safeties and two linebackers when a defense is built from a defensive line and cornerbacks. Frankly linebackers and safeties rank up their with running backs on things I would avoid paying much for.

Allowing a GM to ignore the offensive line for almost a decade.

Zimmer is old school, that doesn't work anymore. You need to gamble on 4th down. In a league where all the rules favor offense its dumb to put the pressure on your defense to finish games.

I could see the Vikings being 0-5 hosting Atlanta. I could also see them 0-7 hosting Detroit.

And I could even see them 0-10 Hosting Teddy and the Panthers.

The lack of getting off the field on defense will haunt them all year. The lack of a decent offensive line and a quarterback that is competent also really have me believing they can go winless.

Does the lack of fans hurt them at home? Absolutely. Except this year. The booing would be drowning out the cheering.

Just read the Scoggins recap on that fiasco. No identity, no clue.

Probably the only team in the NFL that needed a preseason. And even that probably wouldn't have helped much.

Seeing Carlson kick for the Raiders

Makes me think of how difficult it must be playing for Zimmer

Who gets a lot better under his staff?

A few skills players
A few defensive players


But not a lot of guys. That's going to be a huge part of this year's flops. He has no time for youthful mistakes, yet has loaded up at corners with young guys. Linebackers that seem lost, outside of Kendricks.

Needs to go.

Injuries and guys sitting out has ruined the season. Pearce, Hunter and now Barr. Can't really expect to win without those guys.

He is also rarely healthy---biggest issue with Barr.
