Awesome day to golf. Have been out 2 times all year. No one at the course. Olivia and I had a great time. KNEW they were getting kicked when i got in the van. PA is too predictable. Sounded like he was at a funeral.

PA has now shifted his attention to .... hoping the rest of the division sucks. Its a Mn tradition obviously. WE don't want to strive for higher goals ... we want others to "come back" to our level of suck.

How can you be down 17 to 7, have a drive stall and with a few seconds, attempt a gimme field goal to be down 17-10 and instead, have the line completely collapse, block the FG attempt and return it for a TD and go up 24 - 7??????????????????????????? Similar to Perkins Sat. Night with a 6 to 5 lead, give up a 2 run homer and lose 7-6. Gotta say, Perkins tried awfully hard to lose it again today. Guess the 3 run lead is what he needs to register a save these days. Perkins = PAB

Sitting in Dover AFB DE waiting for our next military flight to Spain. Wife will be staying with her family there, while I return in a few days to take care of business back in NC.... Wow, the Sports Scene in Minnesota is coughing up blood. Awful Vikes... Awful Twins... Awful Gophers.... When will this ever change? Do we have to wait for Gopher Basketball to find a winner?

On the O-line, I lost track of how many times Kalil got his ass handed to him. And I quit watching after the first half. When the Vikings drafted him there were people who thought they may reserve his spot in the HOF. After an impressive rookie year he has looked like Bryant McInnie minus the gut. Cassel was just God awful. The INT's were passes that a "veteran" should know better than to throw.

It's all playing out in the media like the Vikes forum. There are people like Charles Barkley (still not sure why he is on NFL broadcasts) saying "I’m from the South. Whipping — we do that all the time. Every black parent in the south is going to be in jail under those circumstances." and other extreme is Boomer Easiason saying "That guy should never be on the field again. And I don't want to hear about his upbringing and what he went through. This is the whipping of a 4 year old child for God's sake and that's just sickness."

I was just going to come in and say - huge chasm between Cris Carter's emotional plea...that's it's wrong, and Barkley's - happens all the time...no big deal.

DON'T TRADE HIM. I understand the anger with AD here, I really do, but Look, he will probably end up plea bargaining down to a lesser charge, serve a few games suspension by the league and then he will be same old AD on the football field. Do we want him going to another team just because some people are mad at him for how he overdid it disciplining a child? The real thing to figure out here is did he learn his lesson and will now change his ways, or will he continue with the overzealous whipping? If he doesn't change then throw him out of the league. Trading or releasing him would be far more detrimental to the team than keeping him.
