Might as well go with Ponder. Why risk it. Another reason to hate Thursday night football. Three more days of healing and he could have played. And memo to Zimmer...............don't call running plays for the franchise quarterback.

For the second year in a row, the one Oregon Ducks game on a Thursday Night that I am going to, is also the Vikings Thursday Night Game.

I might be the only Viking fan in here that has yet to see TB throw a pass in purple.

I'd expect you'll be able to see it next week. I don't expect him to play if the conditions aren't very good.

Hoping Zimmer looks big picture and will rest him. An ankle owie makes him less mobile and a much bigger target. At least Ponder can run.

Not much more than that, for sure.

If Gardy were coaching the Vikes, he would tell Teddy to man it up, play him tonight but he would play him on the offensive line.

Wouldn't be the first time Gardy plays a player at the wrong position.

He appears to be Teflon, which is probably the only thing keeping him from suicide.
Reminds me of the much-talked-about Michigan QB this past Saturday
Entire stadium in shock at one of the poorest performances in history, and every time they showed him on the sidelines between series .... He's living large. It was awesome. Great way to be if you get away with it.

Sucks that Teddy isn't ready, but it's the right decision. Hopefully bad weather will limit the passing attack of the Pack and we can grind out an ugly win.
