Jimmy G. w/ a torn ACL? Not good. No young QB phenom or the Jet.

I want to pick SF, sorta hoping they win as I had them winning their division. But part of me hopes they lose, so they are hungry for a big road win, a road upset when they play at Green Bay in a few weeks.

I think SF can give KC a game, they will only pull the upset if SFs HC can slow down the Chief's offense, they have so many weapons. Garapollo may need to channel his inner Jimmy Montana to pull an upset.

Who in the halleluia is Jimmy Montana? Is that Hannah's dad? Oh wait that's Billy Ray Cyrus....

It's Jimmy Garapollo imitating Joe Montana. Jimmy Montana. Carry on.

I'm sure Trek was greatly enlightened by your post, as we all were.

Clay Matthews nearly had GB start out 0-3 with his weekly penalty.

Anyone else noticing how the rule changes are changing the game and about to explode?
What's the defense supposed to do?
They've now conditioned these guys to let up, and smart QBs are making them pay.
Brees acts like he's going down, the Falcons D half-heartedly bump him, and he spins out of it and scores.
Allen runs up to our LBs and instead of turtling, hurdles them for a huge play.
Several other instances, where QBs faked the easy bail out or step out, and turned it into more yards.
They've now created a MESS. There's truly a no-win situation going on for Defenses in this part of the game.

Teams are 0-4 following a tie this year.

Is this typical ? I wonder what it is like over the years ?

Maybe Matthews can learn from the Dolphin DE William Hayes (that was lost for the season) how to tackle a QB and not draw a flag.

Another lesson about "patience"

Remember a couple weeks ago ... how Darnold, Allen, Rosen and Mayfield were going to tear up the NFL this year?
Pro sports is filled with people who get paid to figure out how to figure people out.

I seem to only remember that about Darnold.

And that was the NY media looking for anything to grab onto.

I don't think he's played well in a game yet.

He looks great. And KC is a perfect example of a coaching staff playing to a player's strengths. For all the flack that Reid gets for his big game performances, he can sure design a pretty offense.

Thought that too

Love the quick slants, hitting receivers in stride, everything feels like its going forward
Our offenses so often feel like they are coming back towards the LOS. I hate that.

Pack down 24-0 at half to Detroit, 3 missed FGs by Crosby, hope it continues :)

And hopefully the Vikes surprise and pull a big upset in Philly.

Several calls went Detroits' way in the 1st half, could have been a setup where Detroit gets a nice lead at halftime, then all the calls go the Packer's way in the 2nd half, helping Rodgers achieve another 'amazing' comeback. Holding on Detroit 2ndary to start the 2nd half, Packers now in the red zone.

:48 and 1:06, was the Packer OL moving before the snap ? Did Bahktieri make several moves before the ball is snapped at 1:06 ?
