Nobody has been talking about Cayleb Jones, but it sounds like he's a player. This was a huge draft year for receivers and perhaps he's one that got lost in the mix, to our benefit.

Played well for AZ.

Snuck up on me this year.
Can't believe it's camp.

Dalvin Cook is not a luxury anymore.
He's a necessity.
Can't see Murray holding up or McKinnon being better.

I didn't realize we were the #3 defense last year (YPG).

The offense probably sucked more than I realized too.

Just watched the Teddy press conference. I'm glad Sam is here, but Teddy is our quarterback. I have zero doubt he will be back and he will be better than he was before he got hurt.

It's something about the character of a man that lets you know who he is before he does a single thing he sets out to do, where you know he can't fail. I got that from him today.

A press conference makes you 100% certain that after suffering one of the most horrific injuries in all of NFL history Teddy will not only come back, but be better than he ever was before.
Zero doubt means there is no possibility of this not happening. Wow you can get way more out of a press conference than I can.

My 2nd paragraph sums up my statement. I have nothing else to say about it. I believe in him. The end.

Always impressed but never surprised by how Bridgewater carries himself. He's a different breed of cat.

He looks quite noticeably bigger upper body-wise.

Same thoughts here.
He's grown on me.
Definitely not ready, yet, imo, to resume normal operations, though.
Appeared to get emotional when asked about the incident last year.
Really feel for him, especially when he discussed having what he loves ... taken away.
I'm not as convinced as others that he will ever be back, but I'm surely pulling for him.

Yeah, that was very distinct. He's been working hard.

He might come through for us, but to say zero doubt is just a lot further than I would go. I have hope for him.

Not seeing Riley Reiff this morning, so Rashod Hill back with 1s. McKinnon is here but hasn't done much. Thielen looks OK.

Writing up the practice notes from the prior day and I think @DanielHouseNFL is right to praise Elijah Lee. Consistently standing out.

He's been very disruptive as a run defender. Already a rangy coverage LB from the KSU tape we've seen.

Isn't this Ian's early call for a dark horse making the team?

I would have been fine with Lee being selected in the fourth round. He was a steal where we got him. Nevertheless, they still aren't practicing with pads, and I'm thinking that Gedeon will be a more physical presence against the run, but I could be wrong. That third linebacker spot is something to watch.

Imagine this basically free gift of a talented guy ready to start out of the gate and make plays next to 2 really good LB's?

A killer DL AND top secondary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The NFL story this year is the Vikings historic run towards HFA with a home SB on the line.

Luke Inman said that Treadwell is catching a lot of contested passes. Due to his lack of top end speed, most of his catches are going to be contested. If he learns to use his size and leaping ability to make catches on the sidelines and end zone, he'll be fine.

I'm excited about the Lee news. I watched him a lot in college with K state, and he can make plays all over the field. He's a tough run defender, but his pass coverage is his strong suit. He'll make the team for sure.
