One guy is a little dinged and Hill seems like a capable backup...not that concerning.

If Waynes is a player we are stacked from front to back.

With an average showing from the offense, which I think is our floor - I think we are looking at 12 wins minimum.

After losing some close games last year, the Vikings are trying to improve their 'clutch gene.' http://strib.mn/2uKweGh

This was a fun short blog to read:

A little more in context to what Zimmer said:

“Well,” coach Mike Zimmer said when asked for his level of concern, “we don’t want to start the same thing that happened last year. We want to try and get through 16 games with these guys. Yeah, I mean, it’s concerning. You don’t want to get anybody hurt the first day.”

Over/ done?

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Seriously that was actually a pretty spot on assessment in that link.

If Waynes play matches his skill set this year, it makes us pretty damn scary with that front 6/7.

If Waynes ascends again in 2017, should the defense just be otherwise status quo, it sets the stage for the Vikings to play 13 total home games.

Seriously, if we can find our offensive identity and be consistent, we are going to the Super Bowl. Its a tall order, especially the consistency piece, given 2016, but its also very doable.

I don't see a single thing from Brad's post history that would suggest he's ever done...

It was just a short while ago that Ricky agreed with me about a poster pleading with Brad to stop...we go from there to believing he will stop? I don't downshift that fast.

Backtrack? I didn't backtrack at all. I didn't see a lot of positives in the article whatsoever.

You guys must have read a different article. What I read about was a guy with potential, who has failed to reach it so far. In short, I agree with the guy.

When you draft a guy in the top-10, you expect him to have an impact in the first 12-18 months. In short, he couldn't beat out a 38-year-old in year two. The only reason he is now being pressed into action is because they let Captain and Tennille go to Carolina.

Anybody heard of Tajae Sharpe? Not exactly a household name, right? Had 41 catches as a rookie for Tennessee. Seven came against Waynes in week one. Never had more than four in a game the rest of the season.

The Vikings have agreed to a 6-year, $78.126 million extension with cornerback Xavier Rhodes, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The deal features $41 million guaranteed, the report said. It includes 2017 and averages to $13 million. Rhodes is now under contract through 2022.
