Anybody heard of Tajae Sharpe? Not exactly a household name, right? Had 41 catches as a rookie for Tennessee. Seven came against Waynes in week one. Never had more than four in a game the rest of the season.

Maybe not so secret, now. He's been outed.

Kinda like what I'm hearing out of Bucky Hodges as well.

He's actually able to block it seems..(It's early I know)

Be real nice to have a big, FAST TE driving down the seams for us as well...

By all means hold your breath dude!

Sorry I should've come with a more absolute prediction, perhaps if Bucky Hodges catches 8TD's the Vikings are winning the Super Bowl!

Better?

LOL.. hey, do you.

I just don't see an obvious path for him to be on the field consistently. Now, granted, Kyle hasn't exactly been the model for TE health, but he was productive with Bradford, which would seemingly increase if the protection does.

Plus, I don't see Bucky beating out David Morgan to be the 2nd TE. So, he will have to wait for an opportunity.. unless of course he makes one.

I just don't see it this season. So, you go ahead and hope for both of us lol.

I can't confirm source but seen Reiff has a hip issue after last season. One Dr recommended hip surgery but Reiff decided against it.

Sounds as if he tweaked it and has been out but Vikings calling injury undisclosed.

Reiff is the one guy we absolutely cannot afford to lose.

Can you imagine?

I'm good to go I don't need surgery

<lasts one scrimmage>

Yeah, maybe not so much...

And now we're possibly left with this lingering thing that will have to be dealt with.

Gonna have to keep blindly hoping for Hill to be serviceable.

It's not really one guy we need to worry about it...it's losing a string of guys that is impossible to dig out of.

Losing Reiff will cause a domino effect.

If Hill is no good Remmers would be put over there and the shuffling begins.

Many are optimistic regarding Hill due to a handfull of snaps against a CHI team that had already mailed it in.
Hill was on JAX PS earlier that season.

Our depth sux

Ugghh

Didn't like the signing, but understood it....

I'd hate it if we're gonna be on the freaking street FA merry go round looking for an important position like LT.

Ryan Clady?

Sounds a little like Jake Long part 2.

Precisely the reason we should have drafted an offensive lineman with our first pick rather than a running back. Been saying it for months.

Ah yes, the mythical LT first round talent that was available when we picked, whether it was at #41 or #48. It sucks that you'll NEVER be satisfied with the team until they do it your way.

Being that they have a current 60-year streak of not listening to you, how is that working out?

Blah blah blah.

How about trying a name to this constant source of sorrow for you?

I'll even help you out:

41: Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
85: Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy
129: David Sharpe, OT, Florida
130: JuliƩn Davenport, OT, Bucknell

Even if we allow for interior linemen - which is not a need:

58: Ethan Pocic, C, LSU
63: Dion Dawkins, G, Temple
64: Taylor Moton, G, Western Michigan
70: Pat Elflein, C, Ohio State

Didn't Kalil go the same route only to have surgery a year later?

I'll say this. I'll believe the line is serviceable when I see it. It feels like the exact same thing from last year.
