Brees - one of the best QB's ever...won exactly on SB and he and his team had to throw integrity out the window to do it.

Alex Smith - can't win no matter the set up.

Cousins - has never won anything.

The answer isn't here.

The answer is on the team and his name is Teddy.

IMO it is going to take something special for us to win it all. Something developed. A will that won't be denied.

Smith and Cousins have done much more than Teddy has in this leaugue playing QB.

It's hard to imagine considering Smith has played in the league for 12 years and Cousins 6 years. Amongst the group of QBs that haven't done squat in their careers, I'll go with the guy who hasn't done squat for 2 seasons, vs 6 and 12.

So then you’re a Taylor Heineke guy?

I know it's hard, but try to keep up.

Maybe I could ride in your side car. Like the dog in that video.

I like Teddy too, but I don't completely trust him. That's why I want a legitimate starter to compete with him. However, if all the qb's want more than 20 million, I'm ok with drafting a qb in the first round to compete with Teddy. There certainly will be more than one quarterback worthy of consideration at the end of the first round. If we did that, I believe we would have a splendid amount of money to pursue free agents at other positions, such as CB, DT, DE, and OT. I see those positions to be our greatest needs at this time.

Veteran starting QBs average 20M. One will cost more than that in a free agency market.

Sign Keenum 3 yrs. 45M with an easy out after 2 years. No one else will go over this price.

Toll Teddy if possible. Not sure how it works. Or else give him 2 yr. 10M.

Sign Giants OG Justin Pugh.

OK. Ziggy Ansah on a one year prove it deal if he can't find a long term deal with someone.

If anything Zim is a corner guy. I'd like to believe he's not a huge fan of watching Wayne's trailing with no idea of where the ball is.

I don't think we exercise the 5th year option. We don't have Zim's #2 on the roster.

Alexander gets his 3rd year but I don't see him as an answer either.

We have money. If a guy shakes loose I hope they make a play.

Waynes and Alexander are young guys on their first contract that Zim can use and mask their weaknesses for the most part but can be replaced easy enough. Keep bringing them in until they get guys with with as strong a future as Rhodes did and was groomed into.

Waynes is Zim's guy. He has been developing him and Waynes took a big step forward this season. CB is the most difficult position to play on defense. Takes time to develop these young guys.

We (re)signed Storm Norton to solidify the OT position. Small school guy, big, looks the part, no NFL regular season snaps. Exact attributes trumpeted about boy-band lead singer Stunning Steve Sloter.

And golly-gee, who knows... (insert HoF/perhaps GOAT OT name here) was a nobody and look what he did!

Leave no rocks unturned!

That's why Storm Norton gets extra slack to develop. On name only.

These non-talent related things can help build the 'aura' of success.

Maybe, if we were putting a News Crew together.

"Tonight, Storm Norton with the weather!".

Somehow I don't really see it impacting our ability to protect our passer.

It's critical if you consider Keenum or Teddy as the future nipple and the OL as the ring of surrounding pigmented skin.

Huge gamble for Washington if they franchise Cousins.

If they do hopefully teams stay away and the Redskins have a 30M cap hit backup QB.

I'm guessing he only signs it if they have a deal in place for a trade that he likes. If not, he won't sign it IMO.
