How is Dallas and Carolina the game of the week?

I'll be surprised if I don't get GB/Chi here.

- I'm very curious how Cam and Turner work out this season ...

Isnt that game tonight? Or is it just overdone sarcasm? Haha!

I think it's the 4:00 game. I don't know. I was paying attention to Cam do his thing thinking about how him and Turner were going to get along more than listening.

Sunday night game

Is no one listening to me

Was glad we didn't get conservative on D. Good job Zimmer. Made up for some of the others areas.

Now back to work on the OL.

Actually I was more mad at SF players running free in our secondary. What the heck was that?

Elflein should definitely help the OLine.

Waynes went out first half. Hughes probably had a rough game. Hill was in at times.

LBs and safeties got fooled on mis-direction multiple times. As did Hughes on an early TE play.

Hughes showed a lot of talent, but was up and down. Good first game for a rookie, though.

Anyone think Smith quit on the play thinking it was over behind the line?

It's a long season. 1st game against divisional opponent. Not going to read to much into it.

Very happy the Vikes beat a team that had a better QB. Thankfully the Vikes have a better defense, better WRs than the 49ers, and the game was at home.

If the QBs were switched, I think Jimmy might have led the Vikes to a 3 TD victory. If this game had been played at SF, the Vikings may have lost. The crowd noise helps.

The Vikes were also screwed on calls and non calls to the tune of 10 or more calls. Had the refs been neutral, the Vikes probably have won by 4 TDs.

I think we led the NFL in covering TE and RB last year. Thought it was a preseason issue. Better get it fixed quick.

Yeah. Maybe not "quit" but he let up on his coverage a bit.

Was a lot of confusion back there. Hopefully can be fixed with more experience back there and Alexander back in the mix.
Shanahan is a heck of an offensive offensive mind as well.

Yes, this team does it all the time. Against Philly in NFCCG. And today. We think we are going to get that 3-5 second sack and we look into the backfield and lose our guy.

Come on Marty! Cousins was way more accurate today. What are you seriously watching?

You over rate JG. He is good but so is Cousins.

The pick6 was a gift. He did make a nice play coming off his guy in the endzone. Got torched by Pettis.

Tape won't lie and coaches'll break it down.

Shanahan is a heck of an offensive offensive mind as well.

And in the end we had 4 TOs and held them to 16 so that is good.

Richardson, Hunter, Rhodes solid today.

Waynes, Gedeon(just teach Wilson his position already) and suprisingly Kendricks struggled at times in coverage.

Jimmy G is very good, slightly better than Cousins, a quicker release and more accurate thrower. Cousins might be better after a play breaks down, but the throw Jimmy G made where he was getting big time pressure and completed to the back of the end zone for TD, was an incredible throw.

But I don't care if he might be better than Cousins, the Vikings dodged a bullet, have a better team than SF, and are off to hopefully beat GB next week.

Waynes left in the first half with injury. Had a nice break up in the endzone. Only allowed 2 short passes that I can remember.

Gedeon should not be on the field.

Gotta remember Shanahan really is one of the best offensive minds in the NFL.
