Hard to believe it's that time of year already. First preseason game tonight.

I'm as excited for this season as I am my next dental visit. I wish I could skip it, but I know I have to put up with the pain.

It's Vikings or bust for this town for the foreseeable future. Maybe Gopher football gets interesting too, but I think that is a year or two off before they make a real run.

Sadly,

I think I'm more apathetic this year than last, if that's possible.

You'll probably see more physicality than the entire year from #9

Oh I know I will. My grandson loves the hitting part of hockey and he's not even supposed to check in mites. He has figured out if he makes it look like he's falling as he's crashing in to someone he can get away with it a few times....LOL.

Awesome
Got on the ice the other night with 40 mini-mites for the first time in a long time.
Started out doing that 30 years ago, but its been High Schoolers the past 20
Pretty damn fun, brought back lots of memories.

Except the "winning goal" never crossed the line.

Kinda nice to see a hungry squad with no #9 slowing the pace and physicality.

Kloos and Anas looked pretty good together (Smurfs for Sweens!)

Hendricks looked good too

I only saw the 3rd...

Small suggestion Sweens. Maybe change the title of the thread to 2018/2019 season since it splits pretty much in half between the two years.

I always find it hard to ramp up to hockey season in September, so I'm going to slide in slowly the way I usually do. There are still baseball games for pete's sake (although none that much matter for us Twins fans).

Yep, that's me.

I do love that you used the new title in your response though.

Apparently the name of the thread cannot be changed. Tim tried and it didn't work.

Not true. I simply don't care what you think.

Truth be told I can change the title of the thread, but that's not how I roll.

I'm hoping that Tim is just being funny in his responses. This isn't the kind of thing most of us get riled up about (there are plenty of other things to take care of that).

The problem with that theory is Tim is not funny.

Where you are at least laughable.

Take a look at our Wild
Same as the old Wild

Watched for awhile last night, and kept getting the feeling we were seeing a replay from last year
NOTHING new, we are simply recycling a plan THAT DID NOT WORK
