I believed the Vikings had the game enough in hand to shut it off and go do other things for awhile.

Just getting it turned back on. 17-27. Looks like Cardinals just scored a TD.

So are we going to do our standard second half collapse and perhaps win on a last-second field goal? :)

You know how Zim likes to add some excitement to the finish of every game. LOL

Yep, get a lead and let the other team run the clock out by catching up or maybe taking the lead. It's foolproof!

If Griff comes back, I'd seriously consider putting him on the Left Side.

Hunter is thriving at RDE, and is more built like a classic RDE, while Griff's size is more like a LDE.

The Vikings haven't gone in a defensive shell. Not concerned. Not today.

Agreed

Hunter winning lots of 1-1 matchups

Hope those pesky Bears end up losing to the Dolphins. That would help a bit, too.

Great blocking by O'Neill on that long run, and great call on the TD.

Love the groovy dance party.....

He'll be our best lineman by the end of the year.

You mean we might hear less of drafting Hughes over Hernandez....Thank god

Probaby not, our guards are not good.

We needed Hernandez AND Hughes! LOL

Jones and Remmers are better than given credit for...need everyone healthy on the oline.

They're both functional linemen that you look to upgrade from. Neither starts on a good O-Line.

I am thinking Reiff, Jones, Elf, Remmers, O'Neal. Which is why I want Reiff healthy...Jones is prob rotating in at Center/Guard until Elf is back.

That isn't a good line. Its better than what we have, but we're still lacking 2 starting OGs, and Reiff is, at best, an average LT.

It is better than Hill, Compton, Elf, Remmers, O'Neal plus it is the weakest unit...you get the weakest unit to average to above average....

Its not above average. At all. No one on that line is above average, hence the whole line can't be. Hill and/or Elf may or may not get there, but they sure aren't there yet.

But whatever...we're never going to agree on the line. We had this exact same exchange a few weeks ago when you said last year's line was above average,

Look at what I said again...they were good until Elf and Easton were injured and later on Remmers had a concussion...

I saw what you said. And I still couldn't disagree more with your assessment. At full health our O-Line was no where near "above average".

O-line was never "good" last year. Bottom third in rushing YPA, which is best measure of whether line wins on run blocks.

Zimmer said early on Hunter is a pure RDE, and Grif started on the left side. Easy call IMO.....

And he's getting better by the week.

I think 2 games ago, he barely had an inside move. Now its devastating.

He has as much potential as any defensive player I've ever seen.

Totally raw coming out of college and still hasn't turned 24...

I think the same of Weatherly...he doesn't have the tools of Hunter but he sure has improved.
