Amazing how the Twins love doing things like paying a season of rehab when they have only done it once.
Amazing how the Twins love doing things like throwing money at Japanese players when they have only done it once.

Nidhi and the other turd. For pitchers Pineda and Mike whatever his last name was they got from Philly.

But Korea and Japan are not the same.

And I have no idea who Mike whatever is.

Some power from the right side.

They probably did some studies on the Jetstream and the dried concrete, and the results show RH can hit them out easier than LH

Just ask Morneau and Kubel.

Nelson Cruz....1 year 14 million to the Twins. 300k buyout in 2nd year or another 14 million for 2020

CORRECTION....FAKE NEWS.

The option for 2020 is for $12 million.

Even a better deal than we thought!

Be careful.

Knocking on a deity may result in said deity changing decisions and playing.

2 years 14 million is all Mike Fiers got....that is cheap. He is worth more than that....I remember big Mike Pelf getting $9 million a year after sucking for many moons.

No player has hit more home runs over the past five seasons than Cruz, with 203, which is 15 more than Giancarlo Stanton. Cruz, 38, who is older than new Twins manager Rocco Baldelli (37), has averaged almost 153 games a year over that same period.

All together now ...

WE DON'T DO THAT HERE, SONNNNNNNNNN

We'll probably get the LoMo version of Cruz next season. But..........it could work out.

Mike Pelfrey came from the Mets not the Phillies. TR signed him to a contract after he came out of TJ surgery. He sucked and continued to suck after he left the Twins but still got paid.

Cruz is really on the high end of FA market contracts for a guy who was in grammar school when I was a senior in high school.

One more comment about Nelson Cruz.

The Twins fate is usually not without its warts. I predict Cruz will hurt his back or injure a hammy and miss at least two months of the season. HIs contributions will be pedestrian at best.

This is the Twins Way.

I can't say that I hate any of the moves they have made so far. OTOH, I was happy with the moves they made last year, except for LoMo. I just hope these ones work out better.

Says MN should focus on pitching and Keuchel would make a lot of sense. Over under on odds of that happening??

Has TK had a meeting with Cruz yet to tell him to hit the ball the other way and stop showing off?

According to Doogie, there are stories out there that Nelson Cruz spends more time studying pitchers and film than any player in baseball today. On the airplane, when others are drinking, playing cards, jamming out or sleeping, Cruz is on his iPod studying pitchers.

Not a bad looking lineup.
Getting rid of Gross, Man and First Baseman No Power will reduce baserunners, but increase HRs.
Like chicks, I dig the long ball.
Pitching is Meh, but when isn’t it.
Getting more pumped for Baseball than I have in a long time.
I’m the Division Player Agent for our local Little League.
That means I’m in charge of the safety Evaluations and tryouts, running the draft, hosting a Coaches Clinic and scheduling Umpire Clinics.
My boys will be both be moving up a Division and Playing Up, both should be fine but young for their leagues.

I was laid off/ terminated in Early December, so am enjoying my time off, however stressful.

Currently a Finalist for a better job, fingers crossed.
