About the Saints call. Yes it was blown. Badly. Sad that the rules don't allow a challenge. But here's the thing. After that the Saints kicked a field goal and proceeded to allow the Rams to get into field goal position to tie. Then in Overtime Bress throws a pick. Rams get into FG range again (though that one would have been good from 70 yards) and lost the game.
Good teams overcome bad calls. They certainly don't go into a shell. Adversity is part of the game. Bad calls are part of adversity. The best teams overcome adversity and still hold on to win. Saints allows the Rams to tie and then win. Not just the refs. Just like the Packers tie with the Vikings, they had a questionable roughing call negate an interception...but in the end didn't hold on to the lead after that call. Refs need to be better to be sure. But in the end the Teams have to overcome the bad officiating.
Sorry Saints fans. The Saints blew it. The refs sure hurt you, but in the end your team let you down.
In 2016, Clinton's underlying (and sometimes overlying) message was something like this: Trump is awful and you will never vote for him. And I am the only other person running for president.
