Thielen is out. The invisible enemy got to him and he hasn't been able to register a negative test.

Well we can't fire the Wilfs although that would be my first choice BY FAR, so let me jump the gun here while the game is still going and just say - fire Zimmer/Spielman. What a god damned joke this team is.

Trial by fire on a team with minimum pass rush. his job becomes easier when hunter, pierce and barr are back Upside-down face

Jeff Gladney has improved over the course of his rookie season so far:

When targeted weeks 2-8:
(Barely played week 1)

71.4% completion
66.3 Yds/Game
9.5 Yds/Tgt
5 TD - 0 INT

Last 3 games:

62.5% completion
48 Yds/Game
6.0 Yds/Tgt
1 TD - 0 INT

(Tanishka on Twitter)

I figured that small sample size was BS. Guess you believe it though, by virtue of you bringing it in here.

They pulled out the victory. I knew they would win all along- NOT!!!!

I thought the game was over when Beebe fumbled the punt. Well, I bet we all did.

Nice game for Cousins. He brought the team from behind in the fourth quarter and had one of those games with 300 yards passing and no interceptions that Dustin Baker was talking about.

I stand by what I wrote. Poor clock management by the Panthers and a missed FG gave us the W but the facts remain the same.

Kirk Cousins in the 4th quarter today:
12/15 for 136 yards, 2 TDs, passer rating 144.0

...for the season:
62/85 for 792 yards, 11 TDs, 1 INT, passer rating 136.4 (1st in NFL)

(Krauser on Twitter)

Cousins deserves credit for playing well late in the games. I mean, our defense has not. Today they would have given up the game if time had not run out.

Observation #9 - Vikings win over Carolina - Brett Jones was horribly overmatched today in pass protection. The Vikings desperately need Ezra Cleveland to come back form injury. When he does, Jones is a backup, and next year, the Vikings need a better backup at Guard.

Observation #18 - Vikings win over Carolina: The Viking D-Line is really poor at holding the point of attack. Far too many 2nd and 2, 3 and 4 yards. It got slightly better later in the game with LB support but this is a glaring weakness (no run stopping or pass Ruch capability)

Observation #17 - Vikings win over Carolina: Dan Bailey is often forgotten but he casually hit the 53 yard FG to close the half, and those were the points that enabled his final PAT to win the game.

Observation #15 - Vikings win over Carolina: Kyle Rudolph showed that he was much more of a receiving threat than Conklin. Kyle may have lost speed, but his 7 catches today were key to keeping drives alive.

Observation #14 - Vikings win over Carolina: One year wonder - Anthony Harris was consistently late in run and pass support today. Far too much money committed for such little impact in 2020. Move on for 2021 and take the compensatory draft pick.

Observation #13 - Vikings win over Carolina: How many times do we have to see 1st down passes by the Vikings that fall incomplete, only to be followed by a slammed r up the middle for 0-2 yards with Dalvin Cook. Good God, break the trend Gary Kubiak!

Observations #5 - Vikings win over Carolina: We dissed Bisi Johnson, and (while he could give 2 sh*ts about what we say), he responded today with 7 huge catches and a 2 PY catch that was not easy. He proved he belongs.

So far today:
•Vikings somehow survived that game with a win
•Cardinals lost
•Buccaneers losing

...if Packers beat the Bears tonight...

Everything's gone exactly the Vikings way a week after it looked like they were dead in the water.

The Vikings are up to a 22% chance to make the playoffs according to this source. I think the odds move up if the Bears and Bucs lose. Also, I understand there's a chance that due to Covid situations the NFL may decide to increase the number of seeds from seven to eight in each conference.

Cousins more or less won this game for us. Not sure how we pulled that one out we looked dead to rights after the Beebe fumble.

A game like should give Cousins more confidence that he can actually do this late in games. He showed some fire in his belly like the Chi game.

We really should have ran the ball once right after the completion to Rudy at the 10 yard line. We left way too much time on the clock. Could have easily cost us that game.

New York Times playoff simulator has them at 27% to make the playoffs. After starting 1-5 I’ll take those odds.

Nothing like a late rally after helping your team dig a hole, like with a fumble returned for a TD.

Oh, nice of you to show up with a drive by to bash posters on Cousins after having hibernated.
