Are our returners allowed to try and return kicks or punts?

Why does MN have the two dumbest football coaches in PJ and Zimmer.
Morgan hasn't developed as a QB at all from his early success.

Morgan taking the sack on the final play was the perfect capper to this wet fart of a game.

I have multiple problems with the offense (along with starting Morgan yet)....granted two WR they have counted on haven't played much due to deaths and injuries but I still don't understand not involving the big 6'8" TE that is a matchup nightmare....the current coordinator would rather force feed Autumn Bell and the 6'4" HB TE (who did score on a pass from Kramer last weekend).....

Wouldn't throwing to the TE and a swing pass once in a while open things up? I really did like how the pitched it out wider allowing for cutbacks instead of always running inside which Illinois was able to stop. Morgan still is a major issue and cost us a shot to take the West.

Morgan is the biggest head scratcher. How can a guy that has line, WR's and collection of backs regress every single year? It makes no sense.

I don't see the WR talent this year but there is TE talent...I do know that Iowa strengths on defense are pass rush and DB/secondary....the problem is that with that explosive running game there isn't a reason they couldn't throw more to the TE or swing passes to the RB to offset the lesser WR Skillset this year.

I think Jeff was talking about receivers over his career. The line is also pretty enigmatic. Biggest line in college in football. Bigger than the average NFL o-line, yet unable to impose its will at the worst possible moments.

It should have been a +1.....no reason not to throw to the TEs. The WR talent isn't the same but both the Freshman RBs are dynamic, Bell/Stephens are pretty good at WR, and they have two TEs that can catch...

Some link Morgan's regression to the O Cord going to Penn State but I think Morgan isn't good.....little brother thinks the 4 star on the bench is going to be dynamic. I think we would have won more games with either Kramer or Annexstad starting.

We have two 4 stars riding the bench. Fleck is another one of those coaches who seems loyal to a fault when it comes to veteran players. Look at the guys who have coached the blue blood programs over the years. They don't hesitate to replace a 2-3 year starting QB when an understudy shows he can do more. Especially when the starter is playing like Morgan.

Can already tell we're going to lose this one. Zebras are clearly pro Badger. Play calling too conservative after the big play and the 2nd and 1. Take a shot FFS. FG's aren't going to win, not when you give up pick 6's.

Hustled to the ball and tackled really well.

WIS holds receivers like no other. Dare the refs to make calls.

One decently coached game from B10 title game.

Congrats on the axe.

Multiple brutal calls

The pick shocked me. Completely. No way did I think they were giving that to MN.

The announcers were even worse than the refs. They defended every bad call against the Gophers and criticized any call that went the Gophers way.

Glad to be wrong on it. We played really well and overcame the Refs who evened out some later. The Badger QB wasn't very good and that helped a lot.

WR #16 needs to be on the field more often. Bucky is a player!

Brando was horrible.
